Dr. Dhaval Rameshchandra Shah, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Shah for the past year. I was seen in the emergency room with severe low back pain. Dr. Shah saw me in consult in the emergency room. On a recent MRI it suggested there was metastatic disease. Dr. Shah was extremely aggressive in determining my diagnosis. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and tested positive with Philadelphia Chromosome which is not common with adults but treatable. It explained why I was in so much pain. I was admitted to the hospital and under went extensive tests. Dr. Shah collaborated with his colleagues and explained what my treatment plan was going to be to combat this disease. In less than one weeks time i began a regiment of aggressive chemo therapy. During this whole process Dr. Shah took the time to explain in length to myself and my family what to expect with this treatment plan and the side effects. Dr. Shah is very compassionate, friendly and understanding to my concerns. Dr. Shah and… his office staff are true professionals. There was never a time that he did not respond to any of my concerns. There was never a time clock. He always had my best interest first. He was honest, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear, he truly cares about his patients. Within 2 months the treatment plan was effective in putting it into remission. One year later, I'm still in remission. I currently see Dr. Shah on a monthly basis. His professionalism and compasion are just as genuine today as it was one year ago. I had an angel sitting on my shoulder from day one in the emergency room treating the deadly disease. If it wasn't for Dr. Shah's swift diagnosis I would not be here today enjoying life. I highly recommend Dr. Shah's professional medical services.
