Dr. Jeyarajah and Dr. Cho saved my life from the second most deadly cancer known to man. My recovery has been an absolute miracle. Wouldn’t trust any one else to work on me again if needed.

Doctor Dhiresh Jeyarajah performed surgery on me to repair a hiatal hernia and a Nissen Fundolopcation. A few months later I was still having issues. After testing they found that the surgery had failed. When I met with him to discuss another surgery to repair what had failed he informed me that “His surgeries don’t fail” and refused to do the surgery. I had to find another surgeon to repair what he didn’t fix. Horrible bed side manors.

He prayed with us, promised we would get me well even if the surgery wasn’t the answer. I was the fourth time he had performed this surgery, but assured with his confidence. When it didn’t work he was terrible. He actually walked out on me at the follow up appointment, before I could even ask my questions, being told by him that he “had other things to do.” Honestly. He literally walked out with me in tears and the nurse to apologize for his terrible actions and try to console me. Lesson? Don’t trust without doing research and really making sure you are in good hands. Of course, as I said he was amazing beforehand. I was afraid and unsure and he was reassuring and comforting and finally I went for it, but to be treated as I was by someone who was supposed to have taken an oath to do no harm is shocking. I can’t say for sure if it was him who failed or the surgery that failed, but I can say for sure that I wouldn’t want him as anyone’s surgeon. Especially not for median arcuate ligament… syndrome.

Done surgery to remove gall badder, repair hernia, and scrape pancreas. He nicked the colon but did not tell me about it. He released me to a rehab after my sister told him to get me out of there because of the condition I was in. The rehab nurses found me sitting in the floor throwing up blood. I had been there only three days. They had to call for ambulance to transport me to Parkland hospital where I had to have an emergency exploratory surgery where they found liter and half of stool in my abdomens from nicked colon. The dr told my sister I would have been dead in 24 hours. I would not trust Jeharajha in no way. Please be aware.

Dr Jeyarajah just wanted to thank you for your kindness. Wanted you to know that I have not had heartburn or reflux since my surgery and take no medication for it now. After suffering with this 20 years.
