Dr. Dhruv Agneshwar, MD

I had a hysterectomy about a year an half ago by Dr. Agneshwar it was the best thing I did... He had advised me to do it sooner, but everything you read advise against it. He knows what works and what doesn't ..I will never use anyone else...he's the best,,,

Dr. Agneshwar is the best doctor in this area. Having 4 C-sections (3 done by Broome OBGYN) I can tell you that Dr. Ag rocks. He is a surgeon and he knows not to take your uterus out (for faster healing time) and less pain inflicted by not having to move your insides around. I was ready to go home after 1 day in the hospital comparing with 3 days with my other C-sections. Dr. Ag is kind, compassionate, gives you the necessary time to answer all your questions. He is very patient considering he deals with hormonal women daily :)

Doctor Agneshwar is quite knowledgeable but as far as showing enough care for his patients he can do much better. The receptionist can also be very rude and uncaring and doesn't seem to even like her job. The only kind people I met at his office were his medical assistant and his sonographer. Another thing is that the wait time is very long and after you see him he only pops in and out and you feel like you have wasted time and money. Overall, if you want to actually feel like your doctor really cares about you and your pregnancy I suggest going somewhere else. I will not be going back to this place.

I have seen several ob/gyn physicians, delt with their staff and had not been satisfied until I met with Dr. Agneshwar. He was able to tell me why I was bleeding, having pain and did a surgery that solved the problem and I was back to work in a week never feeling better. Any problem I have he addresses immediately I have no problem getting an appointment, feel comfortable speaking with the staff and the office is beatiful. This doctor really cares about you as a patient and will go out of his way to help you!

Very calming and gentle with diagnosis

I have stage 4 endometriosis and needed surgery badly.I was refered to this dr since he could do the surgery I needed-excision not ablation.He seemed to know what he was doing he explained all that would be done.I went in for surgery and was told he removed all endo and I would fine.After I was in increasing pain and was put on Lupron(I had prev. done 6 months of this and it did not work) but I did it since my endo progressed so much. The pain continued to get much worse. The dr did not know why and said the surgery was a success.Luckily I needed my medical records for disabilty and saw that this dr had left my left falopian tube attached to my colon to preseve fertility. This dr had spoke with my husband and I before the surgery and we made it clear that we are adopting so he should do what was needed.However this didnt matter to him.He made a decision against my will and when confronted discharged me as a paitent.Now I am out of a job,money,and need another surgery. And still in… pain. Please think twice before seeing this dr.

GREAT DOCTOR. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
