Dr. Diala Ali Jaber, MD

Here's the thing, she can be rude and anxious but she is smart and goes deep into solving your health problem. She helped me identify a digestive issue that nobody could find. She recommends tests and bloodwork that most doctors don't even think of. The supplements she suggests are quality products.

Started going to Dr. Jaber this year and every visit she gives me the dedicated time needed to discuss my medical issues and treatment. There is definitely a long wait, but she is well worth it. She's caring, and very knowledgeable. She is expensive but the tests she provides aren't available with other physicians, and if you choose the Natural Holistic service route it isn't covered by your insurance company so she does ask for a fee of 200$ per calendar year which is way cheaper than going to a physician that doesn't accept insurance. If you're sick and tired of going to the Dr. for 5 mins and being thrown on antibiotics or some guinea pig medication go see her.

Dr. Jaber can be rude and harsh. She wants you to remain quiet while she is constanly writing in your file. She does not encourage questions

Does not seem to have respect for the people who work for her. The Turn over rate with her employees is very high. That should say a lot about her as a person. Save your time and money.

Paid 200$ for holistic care because "Holistic Care" isn't covered by insurance yet she still bills my insurance and collects my copays.. Waited 1hr and a half for the Dr. to show up to her office during my appt not only late but anxious, and as she said too overwhelmed with everything. Gave her another chance, went back for follow-up not only was she late again, but she barely let me ask questions about my health . I left office after visit with a paper full of vitamins that ended up costing a ridiculous amount of money. Pretty sure she profits from that as well. What a waste of time, and money. Find a different Dr.

Dr. Jabar is wonderful. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. She is considerate and take time listening to her patients. She has helped me with so many health issues. She has so much information on various health issues. She is a professional and ethical doctor who does not charge patients unnecessary fees as previously mentioned. I have been to several top doctors in Nassau County and Manhattan and I would highly consider her one of the top doctors in Suffolk county.

Almost impossible to get test results over the phone,although the tests are ordered after an office visit the secretary does everything possible for you to come in person so they can charge for another visit.It's all about money in this office.Doctor D Jaber has a harsh personality and is very dificult to talk to.Find yourself another doctor.

She's wonderful. She spends time and is detail oriented. I don't feel like a number with her. She charges extra for this and I feel it's well worth it. My old doctor spent 10 minutes with me where Dr. Jaber spent about one hour. Also, she's into natural health as well as conventional medicine. To me, that's awesome. She and her staff are on top of things. I barely waited to be seen and they answer the phone promptly. Compare this to my old doctor where I had to leave voice mail and wait for them to call me back.

Dr. Jaber came recommended from a family friend. I had been sick for close to 6 months and was having no luck with a diagnosis or treatment (some treatments from other doctors made me worse). Initially, I just set up an appointment with her, which was about 20 min, but when she realized how bizarre my symptoms were, she immediately cleared space in her schedule for a full hour physical the next morning. She began me on a mild treatment while waiting for the lab results of my diagnostic tests, but her initial assessment was right so the tests just confirmed her suspicion. The treatment she prescribed for me took my personal lifestyle into consideration (I don't like antibiotics if there are other possible courses to take) and she was very considerate in asking my opinion of which treatment I felt the best with.I really loved her bedside manner and I really also liked her nurse/receptionist. (One of them, the other seemed very rude but I only ever spoke to her on the phone).I highly… recommend her, especially to anyone who leans toward a natural method of curing illness but still wants to see an MD instead of a naturopath or osteopath.

Doctor and empolyees are more concerned with dollars then patient. There fees are not reasonable AT ALL and price quotes vary from person to person. Turn around time for questions via phone are unacceptable and they place people on hold for 5 minutes or longer. I will never go there again.
