Dr. Diana Antoniskis, MD

I was born and raised in Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1982. After a particularly harsh winter, I decided to finish my training in California so I did my internship at San Francisco General Hospital followed by an Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship, both at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.

My training occurred during the early years of the HIV epidemic and I have practiced HIV medicine ever since. It's been very gratifying to see remarkable advances in the treatment of HIV/AIDS during my career.

I met my husband at LA County Hospital and we moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1991. We have raised our two sons and one daughter here and they love the Northwest as much as we do.


About my practice

I am one of six providers in the Immune Deficiency Clinic, located within the East Interstate Medical Office, where we provide care for members with HIV/AIDS. We believe in providing care with a multidisciplinary team, …and the patient is a very important member of the team. It is also important that everyone take responsibility for their own health, and that includes eating well, exercising and avoiding tobacco use.How I thrive

My hobbies include knitting, downhill skiing, yoga, reading and competitive walking. I have finished 5 marathons, starting when I was 50 years old. I also like to hike, and have climbed 2 mountains here in the Northwest. I try to get some exercise every day. I like to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and at local food banks through my church.
