Dr. Diana Chacon, PhD

Dr. Chacon seems to be either the most irresponsible or the most heartless therapist I've ever encountered. I have left 3 voice mails and tried calling at least 12 times to schedule an appointment. This almost constitutes malpractice in my opinion.

To put it simply, Dr. Chacon has changed my life. She has been integral in helping me recognize patterns, modify thoughts/behaviors, and ultimately be a more active and self-sufficient participant in my journey toward a healthier life. Thank you Dr. Chacon!

After tumbling from therapist to therapist and almost losing hope in the profession altogether, I ran into Dr Chacon. I’ve been with her for years, and she changed my life forever, as well as any notion I had about psychotherapy, and even myself. She is professional, knowledgeable beyond words in different methodologies, ever present, and shows incomparable empathy and compassion. I can't imagine any of her actual patients rating her anything less than 5 stars.

Dr. Chacon has been instrumental in helping me cope with my anxiety. Over the last few months, Dr. Chacon has been facilitating sessions focused on acknowledging my feelings, my day-to-day stresses, my biggest fears, and my experiences, both good and bad. She guides me to pull apart and talk through my experiences to understand how they affect me, and counsels on how I can best channel my energy into the things that bring me joy and peace on a daily basis. She provides advice on how to be in touch with my emotions and reflect on what I am feeling. Dr. Chacon is always warm and welcoming, approaching each session with open ears and a smile. She listens intently to what I say and always remembers the things I tell her week to week. I always feel comfortable speaking openly in her office. She offers guidance in many forms, whether it be simply listening to you talk through your struggles, answering questions you may have, offering advice for moving forward, and/or providing outside… resources to help complement therapy (such as books, mobile apps, etc.) to help improve mindfulness and peace. Since beginning to see Dr. Chacon, I feel that I have made significant progress in understanding my individual needs, getting in touch with my emotions, developing strategies for better handling my stress, and living happily and more comfortably than before. I would recommend Dr. Chacon to anyone. She truly cares about her patients.
