Dr. Diana Climaco Smith, MD

Dr. Smith went above and beyond she activly listen to my issues, super sweet, and very supportive in helping me with my problems step by step, I have not gone to a doctor for a while and she willing to take me as her patient even though she does take new patient!!!

I've never worked with this doctor in clinic though I had an after hours emergency with a critical platelet level. She literally told me you're just fine unless you start passing out I told her I was recording the conversation and all of a sudden she says I had to go to the emergency room ,unbelievable. How incompetent.

She asked the bare minimum of questions during my visit. Do you eat healthy? I said not really at the moment. She said do it. Then she palpated my stomach and the appt was over. Barely 5 minutes. She dismissed my concerns, not caring to listen to them and even paused for a couple seconds and laughed when I asked about my heart racing when it shouldn’t, which I was worried about due to my sedentary lifestyle. Filled out the mental health form too, marked that I was struggling in each category, and she did not address it. Post-visit, my blood test results came back and many markers were off. I messaged her asking if I decrease my iron supplement bc my hemoglobin came high, she messaged back telling me to call her nurse to schedule a telehealth appt (that i would have to pay for, of course) and when I said it’s just one question why do i have to pay for it, she responded that my question is too complex for a message and that i should make an appt for wait for my next appt (which is in a… year, in which my blood test results would be different?). very careless. worst experience i’ve had with a physician. disgrace to the medical field.

Dr. Smith barely spent even 5 minutes with me while I waited over 15 minutes for her. She never has time to answer questions and keeps referring me to ask the nurse...what kind of doctor does that?
