Diana Thayer, NP

Diana Thayer is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University with emphasis on Adult-Gerontology and acute care. Her clinical training included working with one of the top electrophysiologists in Phoenix, AZ along with other highly trained professional physicians in a variety of clinical areas. She has over 10 years experience as a registered nurse working in the adult medical-surgical ICU, specializing in acute chest pain, heart failure, cardiovascular testing, analyzing EKG’s, peri-operative risk assessment, medication management, and post-operative care. Ms. Thayer is committed towards providing high quality and effective cardiology care for patients with cardiovascular disease. She works with patients on preventative medicine and educating them on the management of cardiac conditions. Diana believes in improving her patient’s quality of life through patient collaboration and evidence-based practice, which is why she is a …member of the Arizona Chapter Nursing Association, American Nursing Association, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Diana has several times been nominated for the Daisy Award because of her belief in patient advocacy and her holistic approach to patient care.

Diane Thayer was born here in Arizona and is a 3rd generation Arizona Native. She enjoys the Phoenix area and and spending time with her family.
