I got Juvederm injected under my eyes - in the orbital areas. I did not have wrinkles; I just had a bit of a concave look. The Juvederm is very difficult to smooth out underneath the eyes. I was unaware of all the massaging and compressing the doctor had to do to try to even it out. The effect was little pillows and a bluish color. It has been nearly a year, and now the Juvederm is wearing off. I have large, deep wrinkles and numerous wrinkles under the eyes that were not as pronounced and/or visible before the injections! There is a lot scientists and doctors still do not know about Juvederm. They need to pay attention to what patients and reviewers are saying. I would NOT recommend Juvederm for underneath the eyes. The skin is too delicate. I am now left with wrinkles, and my eyes have aged 5-10 years. I take excellent care of myself and skin; I stay out of the sun. This all occurred within one month as the Juverderm started to dissolve. I am very dissatisfied about how my doctor… injected the Juvederm, the costs and the ending results.

Doctor Diane Baker is very friendly and knowledgeable. She takes her time and shows she cares. I would go to her with general dermatology needs, but her weakness is in aesthetic treatments. Her office treatments are the highest priced in the area. She does a fair job with Botox; I still have a crease in my forehead after treatments. She does a poor job with Juvederm treatments underneath the eyes. I was left with small pillows and a bluish color 1 month post-treatment. It has been nearly a year, and the Juvederm is starting to dissolve. However, I am now left with deep, numerous wrinkles (that did not exist last year) that are worse than the concave look I had pre-treatment. I would not recommend her for Juvederm injections or eye treatment. She does not seem to have enough experience or know what she is doing. You are better off going to a skilled plastic surgeon. Dr. Baker does not admit poor results and does not compensate her patients when they are dissatisfied, and that is poor… business. Overall, I am very displeased with the long-term results of the Juvederm that was expensively injected under my eyes. They now look like they have aged 5-10 years. Plus, I had to make my appointment 4-6 months out, and she rescheduled it 4 times!
