Dr. Diane Marie Cibrik, MD

Dr Cebrik was assigned to me aprox 1 yr. after my problematic Kidney Transplant in Jan. 2017. She was very pleasant at appointments. She went over the current lab results, but was not interested in hearing that I was having memory problems beginning 2018.. By 2019, my labs showed kidney function was slowly declining as well. In 2020, an MRI showed I had suffered brain damage at some point, yet KU Med was unable to detect when or what it was caused from. So I went for a 2nd opinion at another facility. When the Drs. there attempted to consult with Dr Cebrik about changing my Medications, which was found to be causing the brain damage, she stated that she would no longer continue to be my Transplant Physician. I am an RN myself, and always felt that when a Dr. is angry about you getting a 2nd opinion, it looks as though they are not looking out for your best interest. Perhaps more concerned about their ego being hurt. I am saddened by her decision, as I have been going to KU… Med for over 25 yrs.

I've been patient of Dr. Cibrik for 11 years. I'm completely satisfied with her. She has excellent customer service skills, listens, and tells you the truth in regards to your health.
