Dr. Diane Drugas, MD

Dr. Drugas is an OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT, COMPASSIONATE, THOROUGH, GENTLE, AND INTELLIGENT Surgeon, doctor, and human being - especially dealing with breast cancer patients like me! I've dealt with MANY surgeons dealing with many family members with MAJOR life threatening surgeries as power of attorney for my family members. Dr. Drugas is ONE OF THE BEST SURGEONS/DOCTORS with whom I've had to work. She was my surgeon for a partial mastectomy surgery for breast cancer. I had NO pain after the surgery! I didn't even need a Tylenol. She prepared me for what to expect and how to care for myself, calmed my concerns, called and checked on me after surgery, and CONTINUES to check on me a year after surgery. When you have cancer, you have a lot of doctors and you must track everything each doctor prescribes, etc. Not all doctors and facilities they work for communicate with each other. Dr. Drugas helps answer my questions and track my treatments with other doctors and my general well… being during all of this which not all doctors do. I question those anonymous low ratings for her!!! ?? The Dr. Drugas I know would in no way receive those low ratings! The low ratings may be due to the facility and people who worked there not informing Dr. Drugas of a concern or need. Dr. Drugas is at a new location now. I had breast cancer two years ago. I have never known a doctor who really cares for her patients as she does. She helped me with all of my concerns and even when something else was going on with me health wise, but not cancer wise, she answered by questions and helped me to understand what’s going on. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a quality doctor and wants one that really cares about patient as a human being and not as just a patient. She really cares for people she helps.

Dr. Diane Drugas and her assistant have gained my loyalty as a patient if ever I have to see a surgeon again. My appointment was fast and informational and I feel as if she had genuine care for me and for what brought me to her in the first place. And even after I had my testing done and it was determined that I would need further testing through a different specialist she and her staff continued to help me with questions and other needs. My own primary care doctor dismissed my concerns, leaving me to handle my problem on my own. Dr. Drugas picked up the weight of my PC even when she did not need to. For that I am very appreciative and hold her and her office in very high regard.
