Dr. Diane Frances Elson, MD

She takes time with you and is very thorough. She also seems to know what is in my chart without looking. I know she cannot know this about her full case load but she must read it the morning before or just before entering the room.

Listened to all concerns and took her time to make sure all questions and concerns were answered.

I saw this dr through the Pituitary Clinic and thought she was really great. I'd highly recommend her.

Fantastic doctor. Only trouble is it can be hard to get an appointment on short notice, but I've always managed something. I usually schedule 6 months out and that's fine. She doesn't talk down to you, listens to all your concerns, and admits when she doesn't know something. She has been wonderful in treating my thyroid issues. She's kind of like the secret you're nervous about sharing with others in case it makes her less available - but she's earned at least this much from me. Not that she's particularly interested in such things...she scoffed at me once when I mentioned I saw her in some Madison Best Doctors article and tried to deflect the publication's praise. No Dr. E, the article was right on.

I've been a patient of Dr. Elson for about 10 years and absolutely love her! She is so professional and yet it's like talking with your best girl friend. She really takes the time to answer all of my questions and I never feel like I'm being rushed out the door. She is by far the best Endocrinologist I've ever had!

Dr. Diane Elson is the very best physician I have ever seen!Despite a busy teaching schedule and many, many patients, I have NEVER been made to feel that she is in a hurry. Excellent physician! Very up-to-date on current treatment for the condition I saw her for. She also goes out of her way to pick up on other conditions that might be wrong with you.
