Dr. Diane A Ferguson, MD

This was one of the first doctors that my insurance company referred because she was ‘ in my network ‘. I made an appointment with her today and was told by the receptionist that her computer shows out of network.She made little effort after I call my insurance company to resolve the issue because my insurance had IT on the phone to help resolve the issue. She wanted to pay out of pocket or send me home not seeing the doctor. The receptionist informed me that I could solve the problem at home. This I could not b/c I didn't have the computer codes that IT asked her for while they trying to assist while I was there at the office. Instead, she resisted helping IT find the reason why her computer didn't match their data, that Dr. Ferguson was in-network. This assures me that my needs did not matter to this office as the doctor and her nurse both overheard. I was in severe pain during this time and left the office not seen and frustrate how considered these medical professionals showed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Diane Ferguson’s for a few years now. Besides her medical expertise, she has a wonderful bedside manner. She takes time to listen and personalizes your treatment. In addition, her entire staff are just as wonderful. I’ve always been treated with professionalism and courtesy. They are very caring, from Jessica, to Rachel, to Danielle. I’ve recommended many to Dr. Ferguson and they love her too!

Dr. Ferguson & the professionals working with her get me in, treated, and out before the ink on the sign-in dries. Great staff of nurses! I had a serious issue being addressed. My doctor actually called me at 7:30 one evening to check on me. Beat that!

The staff is very personable and extremely helpful. Dr Ferguson listens and explains everything. A caring Dr who practices for the health of her patients not for money.

Before Dr. Ferguson left her practice in Ridgeland, Ms I was a patient of hers for over 20 years. Her leaving just devastated me and my family. She has the most amazing way with her patients, you feel like you are the only appointment she has. No rushing through, she sits and listens to you, she shares the task of plan of care with you. You are a part of the decision making regarding your care plan. She is very knowledgeable and up to date on medical issues of the day. I wish is was not a 2 1/2 hour drive or I would still be seeing her. I may consider going in spite of the drive. I have not had medical care since she left that has satisfied me in any way.

Dr. Ferguson goes beyond the medical aspects of treating her patients. In spite of the obvious that she is consistently very busy, she never rushes nor does she give the impression that she is just doing her job. Her ability to connect to patents as human beings is a gift that many other doctors could take to heart. She is also very skilled at inviting the patent to become a partner in the process of getting well and finding solutions to problems. She is secure in what she knows, but very unassuming and humble.. in a professional manner. A wonderful doctor, and a fantastic woman..

Dr. Ferguson has been my primary physician for at least 20 years. Unlike other experiences I've had in doctors' offices, she makes me feel as if I'm her only patient at that moment and takes the time to listen, respond, and take care of my needs. She never comes across as rushing me and it feels like a very special time with all focus on my medical situation. She's very special!
