Dr. Diane Hoelscher is Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Patient Management at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She earned a BS in Dental Hygiene, DDS and MS in Health Care Education from UDM. She has been a member of the dental faculty since 1990 where she has taught periodontics and operative dentistry. She is actively involved in many professional associations, including the American Dental Assoication, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Education Association, where she currently serves as Chair-Elect of the Council of Faculties. While her full-time academic appointment keeps her busy Monday through Thursday, she particularly enjoys the Fridays she spends at Baker and Ochs.
