Dr. Diane Marie Lemay

How are you doing to be in charge of insurance appeals when you cant do basic medication for your clients?

She is a child abuser. She has no place pretending as though she is a 'doctor'.

We have been taking our 3 children to Dr. Lemay for about 10 years. We are looking elsewhere now for a family doctor for all of us. I try to just take trips to the doctor for well checkups to avoid intervention and Dr. Lemay seems big on over testing and vaccinating; not my style. She is a very nice person. We see the Nurse Practitioner for well visits - really like her. Office nurses are always changing and don't care for the majority of them.

Choosing Dr. Lemay as my sons pediatrician was the absolute worst choice I could have made. All of her staff was very unhelpful, unpersonanable, and down right rude. No one wanted to help me when I called with a problem with my son and when they did it seemed like I was causing them trouble. There is no seperate waiting room for the kids who are sick. So my two week old son was in a waiting room with children coughing and sneezing. Dr. Lemay herself is one of the most rude people I have ever come across. She did not want to answer any of my questions, and when I had concerns she would treat me like I shouldnt be worried about my son. For his two month shots the nurses told me he would have three shots. They didnt explain any of the shots to me and he ended up getting 5 in one day without my permission. The nurses are completely uneducated. When I would call in with a question they would tell me to do one thing and call me back two hours later telling me something completely different.… I've recently switched doctors.

Dr. LeMay ordered a procedure for my 18month old. It didn't sound necessary and I went for another opinion which confirmed my intuition. My daughter never had the procedure and 7 years later is doing fine. Also I would schedule apptmts. with the DR. and when I arrived they would put my with her assistant. Then when I needed forms filled out and signed by the dr. she would refuse to sign because she didn't see my child, all of a sudden she didn't trust her assistant's word on things. She did bill my insurance company and they paid for a dr visit all the times I was put with her assistant, she seemed to have no problem with that. Finally patient advocacy at Licking Memorial went to see her and told her these forms I needed must be signed by a dr and not nurse or assistant and they were able to get them signed in a few days after I tried to work with her for 2 months. I found her to be unreasonable. I found a new pediatrician in Newark and was so much happier. There are better… docs out there. Don't waste your time with Dr. LeMay.

Dr Lemay is absolutely wonderful. We were having issues with our son throwing fits and being really angry and lashing out, and she recomended a place for us. Since then, our son has been seeing a Dr and is on a very mild medicine to help him adjust and it has been wonderful. She knew how to handle him in the office when he was angry and just knew where to send us. We live 45 minutes away and still go to her. Highly recommend for any child..

Dr. Lemay is great in knowledge and ability, and in how she treats people, both parents and children. The office has always fit me in immediately when it was urgent. She was also very helpful in referring me to specialists for my son who is disabled.
