Dr. Madfes literally saved my LIFE. She realized a pinhead sized 'freckle' on my breast looked suspicious and biopsied what turned out to be a melanoma lesion. It had appeared between visits & she stopped it in its tracks! It was so tiny that the pathology lab congratulated her! Three years later I had breast cancer and it was Dr. Madfes, NOT my Columbia oncologist who said there was a link between the two cancers and that I needed to be tested for BRCA and take certain preventive steps to avoid ovarian cancer. She was absolutely right. I am eternally grateful to her for looking out for my LIFE. On the beauty front, for years Dr. Madfes has done an incredible job to help many of my friends and I look youthful, refreshed and our skin radiant and at its best!

Burnt the crap out of my skin with a laser meant to remove big bruise she gave me from injection - laser burned and scabbed over in 3 places - doctor avoiding responsibility now and gave me cortisone which then turned the area white had to go pay more to see my long term doctor who gave me burn cream - she hadn’t offered any treatment or refund etc. Waited long time to go to her and very disappointed in her lack of skill when heard good things before. Bruising happens - burned skin in hands of competent laser doc do not - my long term doctor said she is not using correct machine for bruises the one she uses is “notorious for burns”

I have been seeing Dr Madfes for almost 20 years for clinical dermatology. She was recommended by a friend who saw her for cosmetic procedures and highly recommended her. I trust her knowledge and judgment and could not recommend her more. She very recently started treating my 2 year old daughter for a dog bite wound and is doing an amazing job of not only treating the wound, but also enabling me to feel comfortable with the final outcome and prevention of scaring. She has a very soothing manner and lovely personality and is my favorite doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Madfes for 12 years and Dr Williams for about 3-4 years and they both do very natural work. They are reasonably priced and will never insist on selling you more of anything. Once Dr Madfes even told me "I really don't think you need that". Dr Madfes and Dr Williams will ask you what your concerns are without ever pushing for anything you don't want or need. Both doctors are also soft spoken and kind, which is a major plus for me. Also, Dr Madfes and Dr Williams don't overbook or see 3 patients at the same time. They will give you their full attention and they will focus on you until they are done with your treatments before moving on to the next. I have recently tried another dermatologist who was featured in multiple magazines and she doesn't even come close to Dr Madfes or Dr. Williams. This experience made me realize that all these star dermatologists are mostly all hype. They charge 3 times the cost of Madfes and they don't even come close to the quality… of her work.

Dr Madfes was recommended by my internist who is also on of Dr Madfes's patients. Simply an outstanding individual. She treated a skin condition I had and results were superb. Caring,Compassionate and Professional!

Diane Madfes truly knows what she talks about. I told her that i wanted a certain treatment and she informed me that could get similar one but for much less money. It is very rare to meet a doctor who cares that much.

Dr Madfes is a very skilled and kind physician. She is expert in cosmetic and laser advances. Her staff is excellent and I am always in the best of hands with her.
