The Best, easy to talk to and she knows what she is doing

Has managed my diabetes for years. She is the best of the best!

Dr Gronski is an excellent doctor for my diabetes care. She takes the time to listen, and is very encouraging as I tackle this condition.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gronski's for a little over 2 years. She has been extremely hard to get an appointment with sometimes having to wait 7 months or so. When changing medications for thyroid disease that's a long time and then when you add in a person's age on top of that it is far too long! One thing I do not agree with her on is the fact that she only goes by lab test results not how a person actually feels. The labs and 'ranges' are just that tests/ranges. When a person is on thyroid medication and has been for over 20 years it should be about how you feel. I will admit if it hadn't been for her I would never have been able to change my thyroid meds and probably would be quite sick now. So for that I am thankful. Just taking what the labs show is inadequate in my opinion. I live in my body and know how I feel. She has now left Banner Health Group and I have no idea where she went.

Dr. Gronski is one of the best endocrinologists I’ve ever been to! She listens to what you have to say and is very friendly.

At my first visit, I thought that Dr. Gronski seemed nice. I had hoped that she knew what she was doing regarding my conditions. I thought I was having an adverse effect to my pituitary medication, and I told her about it in detail. She didn't seem to care, kept me on the same dose that I had been on for several years, and told me to come back in 6 months. When I had noticed that the side effects were worsening (even though the medication was working and immensely helping me), I called her office and was only permitted to speak to a medical assistant. I had asked for a decrease in my dosage to see if the side effects would lessen or stop. That is what is recommended for other side effects from that drug. By the way, I have a nursing background. Dr. Gronski never spoke to me on the phone, nor wanted to see me in her office before my 6 month follow-up. The MA called me back and said that Dr. Gronski would decrease my dose and called in the new prescription. So, I was fine with that. In… the meantime, I had decided to call the drug manufacturer to ask if my side effects were being experienced by other patients. I had wondered why Dr. Gronski never called the drug company herself, considering it is a serious side effect, and she has other patients on the same medication. Wouldn't she want to know? I had filed an adverse side effect report with the company and was told that other patients had experienced the same side effects, which were not mentioned in the prescribing information for patients or doctors. I then called Dr. Gronski's office back to let her know that my side effects were being experienced by other patients, but the company has not done a study on them as yet. Again, I was not allowed to speak directly to Dr. Gronski, just to a medical assistant. I actually do not know if the MA accurately conveyed my message or not. All I know is that the MA called me back and said that Dr. Gronski said to stop the medication and that she was cancelling my prescription! I have a rare, serious condition, and she just wanted to cut my medication off just like that, without even speaking to me or seeing me in her office?! I had given myself injections of the medication for almost 5 years and she just wanted me to stop it cold turkey with no suggested substitution or advice. By the way, my labs were always in the normal range, and I was very compliant with getting my labs done and keeping my appointments with my previous doctors. I said she can't do that without giving me some alternative, because I was so sick with heart, liver, connective tissue and other problems prior to starting the medication. I had actually thought that I was going to die or have to have heart surgery. Those issues resolved with the medication and she just wanted me to totally stop taking it! What kind of monster is she?! I said to the MA that's not acceptable to me, and I wanted to see Dr. Gronski asap for an appointment. I was told that Dr. Gronski said to keep my appointment in 3 months, that she has no appointments available. I asked to be put on the cancellation list, which I was told I would be. Just to be sure, I called back and spoke to the appointment line, and I was told that there is no cancellation list! Then, she said that maybe the other location has one. I said I need to know for certain because this is serious. She said she was sending a message to the other location. She would not allow me to speak to the other location to confirm that there actually is a cancellation list. What good does that do? That's not a confirmation that I'm on the list. The medical assistants are extremely lazy, incompetent, and just don't want to be bothered with your health problems. These people don't care if you live or die, in my opinion. They seem to forget that if it weren't for patients, they wouldn't have jobs! I noticed that other reviewers say that they like Dr. Gronski, but her staff is very bad. I see it as Dr. Gronski condoning their uncaring, rude and unethical behaviors. That actually says a lot about her. Dr. Gronski didn't care enough to call the drug company herself, especially since she is treating other patients with my condition. She did nothing. I'm surprised that she even took my word for it as to what the drug company representatives told me. Why didn't she call them to confirm that information or ask them medical questions? Why didn't she call me to discuss my side effects and why she decided to suddenly stop my medication altogether? She didn't see me in person to document or photograph my side effects for my record, which is totally wrong. Dr. Gronski is extremely unethical. I would not trust her one bit. She's got an endocrinology mill where patients are herded through like cattle, and she and her staff could care less about you or your well-being. Bad doctor, bad staff. Go elsewhere.

Great doctor I really enjoyed my first couple visits with her. But when my insurance company changed my Farxiga to $300 a month. I called and ask her what other drugs would work for me doing the same thing for my condition. She said talk to your insurance company. I called back and asked for just list of drugs she thought would be good for my condition, maybe even increase my metformin and I will research them and then ask insurance company how much they cost. She said don't bother me, ask your insurance company, then receptionist hang up on me. Never asked how my blood sugar is doing etc. Oh last week after waiting 6 months for my yearly checkup. I got a call and they said that she will not be there for my next appointment, her PA will handle me. If I wanted an appointment with her, I have to wait 4+ months. I will not bother her any more.

Difficulty getting an appointment. Booked out several months (at least 3-4 months).

Can't get refills, have gone over 5 months without one of my medications, the assistant calls in the wrong meds, Gronski does not listen on your visit

Dr. Gronski is very good but her administration staff is uncaring and incompetent. It took over 2 months to get a lab test for cancer. That was finally taken care of with senior management assistance. Appointment with Dr. Gronski was changed to another physician without asking or advising me. That is not acceptable. I was told i would have to wait another 5 months to see Dr. Gronski. Can you believe this when potential cancer is involved?
