Dr. Diane Nagasaka, MD

Dr. Nagasaka is very thorough and patient. She is an awesome dr and worth the wait in line.

If I could give zero stars, I would. She is aware of my conditions yet still tells me things such as “get a grip”, “it’s in Gods hand” or even things such as I’m “like the boy who cried wolf”. On top of that she refused to give me testing. Very rude, inconsiderate, and not even worth the HOUR wait she always makes me wait for. Makes me feel as though I can’t even go to my own doctor if in need. At first I was happy to be referred to her cause she was told to take time with her patients BC she cares but as time went on, I heard many negative comments thinking that they weren’t true until today when I experienced it for myself. She just sent me home with a fever and sore throat during this COVID-19 outbreak without giving me any medical advice. As well as not bothering to see me when another doctor urged for me to be seen again when my fever kept spiking up. Never going back to her again & I hope this review makes others rethink their decision.

Dr saved my life when she discovered my Carotid Artery disease in time for treatment and surgery.

Highly qualified doctor who keeps patients in the loop and educates them about their health while offering them all their treatment choices. One of the very best MDs on Maui.

Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Nagasaka was dismissive to my input during my appt., misdiagnosed a dangerous condition & sent me home waiting on tests without even one instruction for self care at home, like drink plenty of water. Two days later I ended up in the hospital, was properly diagnosed & had to have an emergency procedure. She covered up her mistake, and when I had further questions said she was busy and I'd have to make an appointment.
