Dr. Pennington provides the best experience for a maxillofacial surgery that you can receive. I've been to 4 different maxillofacial surgeons and she is by far the right choice. Her level of professionalism is unmatched. As I scroll down on the negative reviews for her, I see a reoccurring pattern of disgruntled people who clearly didn't understand their original required payment.

I am so grateful for the professional expertise and personal care I received from Dr Pennington and her staff. It doesn't get any better than this!

Excellence in oral surgery and personal attention.

Upon my consultation visit, the Doctor came in, shook my hand, and introduced herself. Appearing friendly at first, she was probably turned off by the fact that I am a patient who takes charge of my health (amicably) and wants to make the best decisions regarding my care. Why shouldn't I? I had to pay for my extractions myself! She explained how the surgery would go in a "matter of fact" way, while neglecting to listen to my concerns as a patient. On the morning of surgery, she was all business and was not at all gentle in positioning my arm to start an IV. I recovered quickly from the surgery, but she was quite rude, even to my family, at my followup visit. Hurried and can't be bothered.

I find the previous reviews hard to believe. I, as well as many family members and friends have used Dr. Pennington and find her and her staff completely professional and very friendly. Her bedside manner is great, as well. I delayed having an implant done after losing a crown that could not be replaced due to the lack of tooth left. I thought an implant would be painful and would take a long time to heal. However, the process wasn't painful at all. I barely needed pain medication afterwards. Dr. Pennington's staff called to check on me the day after to make sure everything was okay. All the charges were explained to me up front. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I would, and have, recommend her to my family and friends.

Do NOT utilize Dr. Pennington's services. Her office blatantly lied to me about how much I owed them for a wisdom teeth extraction, and then 2 months after the procedure tried to extract another $240 from me after assuring me all that I owed was what I paid on the day of the procedure. Her smarmy, snotty little business manager even threatened me in an effort to make sure I paid them funds that I didn't owe them.
