Dr. Dianna L Phan, MD

Dr. Phan is unfriendly, uncaring, and doesn't perform basic tests during a yearly physical, which I believe should take more than 10 minutes since my appointment time is 30 minutes. She avoids portal messages. She clearly was not called upon to be a physician because she cares about her patients.

I have been going to this doctor for years. been trying to get my orders for my mammogram since last week and still didn't get them. she sent me a message and she said she will not be contacting me because its not a urgent medical condition. I will be finding me a new doctor. because it seems Phan don't seen to care about her patients. the medical field has gotten so out of hand with taking to many patients in one day, that they don't even have time for patients that call in. the best part about this is....its not the first time this happened. last year and the year before the same thing. SO I WILL DEFINIELY BE GETTING A NEW DOCTOR. AND IT WILL NOT BE AT OCHSNER.

The most amazing PCP I’ve ever had. Dr. Phan has been a true angel to me. I came across her on a public Facebook forum with recommendations for a PCP and her name stole the show by far. I made an appointment with her years ago and I will never see anyone else. She’s an amazing listener. She will listen to all of your concerns and if I’ve ever wanted to try something different, or take a different approach, she always honored that and gave me her professional opinion. She cares about her patients like no other doctor I’ve ever found. She’s also very relatable. While she gives her professional opinion and is a truly incredible doctor, she always talks to me like I’m on the same level as her. She makes me feel important to her. I do not feel belittled or intimidated by her in the least. I absolutely love her and know others love her as much. The reason for this review in particular is I’ve come down with covid that sparked other health issues over the last week and she has been so on top… of everything, even in the madness of covid and the flu. She’s responded almost immediately every time and has a game plan with any prescriptions I may need sent to the pharmacy within a an hour or two of my initial complaint. She’s made e visits so convenient and is very prompt. I’ve also never had to wait in office for her. Truly. As soon as I check in with the front desk, her nurse calls me back before I even have a chance to sit down. I’m in and out and always very satisfied with our visits. She’s the most amazing doctor I’ve ever had. If you need a PCP, look no further. I believe she accepts all insurances, definitely BCBSLA.
