Dr. Diardre Hilda Quinn, MD

I was looking for a new PCP in the area and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Quinn, she had great communication skills she never talked " medically" above my head, she was professional in every aspect of the word and I wish I had met her years ago.

Dr. Quinn met me for 10 minutes and told me if I wanted to continue taking the anti-depressant I was on she would NEVER prescribe it for me. I was on this drug for many years and it was also controlling my neuropathy. She shamed me so much I decided I needed to get off this drug. As I was tapering off I had one health emergency after another. I had to be hospitalized for out of control BP. This had never happened to me before. She was so nasty to me I was stunned! I have never been treated so badly by any professional before. It was horrible. Avoid her!! Do No Harm Doctor!

On the basis of previous recommendations, my husband and I chose Dr. Quinn as our family doctor. After we both had our own initial appointments, we complied some words that express how we felt: intimidated, dehumanized, rushed, disinterested, impersonal, unfriendly, cold, rude, arrogant, inflexible. We discussed putting up with all of that , but no, moving on.

Dr. Quinn is an excellent physician. She truly listens and cares for her patients. Her bedside manner is very comforting. No health issue or complaint is too small for her, she addresses every concern. She shows a personal side of her as well. I would highly recommend her.

I have been a patient for several years with Dr. Quinn and I find her to be an exceptional physician. Even though she has to keep her lap top close and documents pertinent information about my body, she is attentive, asks appropriate questions, is an exceptional diagnostician. She also is not afraid to show her personal side and allows myself to see her as a caring human being. My husband also goes to her and has made his personal assessment independently that concurs with mine. We have lived in Lansing and have never felt more cared about. Dr. Quinn has cared for me the past 10 years. I trust her implicitly and have placed my life in her hands (isn't that what we do with our physician?) I value her knowledge, experience and professionalism and have always appreciated her candor and honesty which she delivers in a kind, caring and un-rushed way. She has a great sense of humor and always takes the time needed for me to voice my concerns and questions. THANK YOU Dr. Quinn for all you give to me !!!!

I took my aging parents to Dr. Quinn. What I love about Dr. Quinn is her professionalism; she is thorough, never rushed, polite, and competent. Unlike some physicians, her ego is in check; she's crazy smart with medicine, but knows when to refer out to other specialists. My parents love and trust her. The more you get to know her, the more her warmth and compassion become apparent. Do not let her business manner fool you; she has a heart of gold.

Annual Physical with Dr. Quinn - I am so blessed to have Dr. Quinn for my doctor. She is so honest, smart and comforting, I trust her explicitly with all of my problems and because I have soooooooo much respect for her, I listen to everything she tells me to do. I developed cancer in the last year and although I have to see someone else, she is so honest with me and I was able to gain more respect for my oncologist because of my discussions with her. I LOVE THIS DOCTOR!

Dr. Quinn is great. It isn't always easy getting an appointment.
