Dr. Diego J Grinberg-Funes, MD

We saw Dr Grinberg as a new patient and he was very pleasant. He explained that he was called out of retirement to keep 3 urologists on staff and that he possibly wouldn't see us after July when new dr came. We appreciated the notice but found him to be thorough and listened to our story. the staff was pleasant.

Dr. Grinberg is very personable and considerate. Clearly wants to know me as a person, not just a patient. He has a sense of humor that might put some people off, I guess, but not me at all. He is very smart and I trust him to tell me my options and let me decide. There are comments here about the office. There can be wait times, but I appreciate that he takes his time for me. That may result in the next patient having to wait a bit.

I had surgery in another state and wanted to make an appointment with Dr. Grinberg-Fune. However, the person who answered the phone told me to wait. After more than 10 minutes, I gave up and ended the call. If they won't even pick up your call, I shudder to think how bad their service is. The other reviews I've seen were less than spectacular too. Maybe I dodged a bullet.

I have had Dr. Grinberg for years as my urologist and he has a great bedside personality. He is a very knowledgable Dr.. I had him for two surgeries in removing two kidney stones and he was great both times. He cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him.

I already had the diagnosis from another Dr., I wanted pellet procedure but him being a surgeon pressed for Da Vinci robot surgery $$$. I had complications since and he won't consider other treatment, wants to cut some more!! Arrogant beside manner! Notice the turnover of office/nurse personnel, somethings wrong. Notice all the "warnings" in the waiting room, but it is ok for you to wait 1/2 hr.+ every visit! Follup visit symptoms totally dismmissed! If I could do over would have gone to VT or Boston. Be very careful please.

office staff is very rude, you never get call returned. It takes up to 24-48 hours to hear back from office. office manager does not see how this is an issue. her belief she will dismiss patient from office. when there is not other office in the town.

nasty attitude!

I liked Dr. Grinberg.He was somewhat distant the first visit, but I am sure he had a lot on his mind.But he greeted my husband while I was escorted up to the surgical floor which was nice.He cares about his patient and their spouses.I told the Doctor that I would recommend him and he seemed pleased.The experience was a lot simpler that I had ever imagined.The follow-up went well after 2 weeks since my surgery.
