Dr. Diego Gabriel Hojraj, MD

True definition of a doctor I have so much respect, appreciation and warm heart when I think about Dr Hojraj. He is extremely professional ,knowledgeable ,efficient ,concerned and reliable. I am a patient of his for over 20yrs. It's so difficult to find and keep quality and empathetic care hence why I literally change my insurance when he updates his periodically. He has helped me managed my overall health in easy and difficult times. Highly recommend and only wish there were more doctors like him in specialty fields but grateful ofr a pcp to help navigate it all.

On time. Detailed note taker…..always up to date on my medical profile. Good listener and feedback. Prudent treatment. Excellent giving referrals. Trustworthy.

Dr Hojraj is rude and should be avoided at all costs! He is a disgrace to the medical community. Save your time and go elsewhere!

We’ve been going to Mt. Sinai doctors for years. We needed a quick appointment to get a flu test and we were given an appointment with Diego Hojraj. This is not our normal doctor, but that shouldn’t matter. We got to the office, waited for 30 minutes, and then Dr. Hojraj had an absolute tantrum, complete with vulgarity, about how he shouldn’t need to see us because he doesn’t know us. We are long term patients of this system. Mt. Sinai SCHEDULED US with this Dr. All for him to act like a five year old and refuse to see us. We never got passed the waiting room. This person should be doing something where they have no contact with other human beings. I feel bad for his patients, and I feel bad for the poor staff member that he berated because he didn’t want to see us.

A number of years ago. I moved to the city.You never know how much you need a good doctor until you need one. I woke with a hacking cough and could not sleep. By the luck of the draw I was seen by Dr. Hajraj. His demeanor was great. He interviewed me and poked and prodded like was his only patient. IH was like a family member. Fortunately I see him only once or twice a year. I strongly recommend him

Dr. Hojraj is by far my favorite doctor. He really listens to his patients, is extremely thorough, is always available and is quick to respond to your emails like no other doctor. I would not trade him for anything in the world.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism and compassion of Dr. Hojraj. He truly cares about all his patients. If you need him to go above and beyond regarding matters with you insurance. He does his best for you. For many years my Mom and Dad were in his care. Now only my dad is because Mom is bedridden. My dad loves "Dr. Diego" which is how my dad calls him. He goes in to see Dr. Hojraj and I wait in the waiting area. Dr. Hojraj speaks fluent spanish and this enables my father to see his doctor without me by his side. When Dr. Hojraj escorts my dad back to his office, I always tell them "call me if you need me". It has yet to happen. I have always had the ability to get in touch with Dr. Diego anytime it was necessary and HE HAS ALWAYS RETURNED MY CALLS! They honestly DON'T MAKE DOCTORS LIKE THIS ANYMORE. My dad is 93 now and he and Dr. Diego will be together until God calls him home. God Bless You Dr. Hojraj!!!!

Compassionate, knowledgeable and caring. I have been seeing Dr Hojraj for two years now and I cannot say enough how helpful he has been. He always gives you his full attention and you leave feeling like you just spoke to someone who is there to help you.

Dr Hojraj id an extremely knowledgeable, polite and skilled physician. I have found him to be understanding and someone who takes the time to explain everything. I highly recommend Dr. Hojraj.

Dr. Hojraj conducted a thorough exam, asked detailed questions and offered well thought out solutions. His bedside manner is excellent.
