Dr. Diego Alfonso Miranda, MD

I must express my profound disappointment with Dr. Miranda and his complete disregard for basic human compassion. His dismissive and callous behavior during our interaction was truly appalling. It's clear that patient well-being, especially mwntal health, is not a priority for him, as evidenced by his insensitive attitude when discussing my situation. I would strongly advise anyone seeking medical care to steer clear of this doctor, unless you're looking for an experience that leaves you feeling unheard and belittled. I have had three appointments and that is enough for me. I will be finding another doctor. The nursing staff were wonderful. This review is solely for Dr. Miranda.

Worst Dr I have ever experienced in my life. Walked out of his office and got new orthopedist who was able to fix my problem immediately.

I have seen Dr Miranda three different times for different issues with my hands, over the past several years. I have always found him to be personable, caring about my pain and comfort during treatment and not in a rush to surgery without first applying his vast knowledge of the condition and the best treatment for it. He does not waste any time, but that I find a benefit because I have never had to wait very long to be seen.

I visited Dr. Miranda's office today and I must say this is the most disrespectful, rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate doctor I have ever dealt with. Upon my first visit (1 week ago) he acted as if he was irritated with the fact that I was referred to him by another doctor and needed to be seen. First, I was told his office were going to call me to set up an appointment within 1-2 days. Well that never happened. Second, instead of him/his staff contacting the referring doctor's office or researching in the WK health system to get my lab results he tells me, "I don't know what to tell you they didn't send over the labs and walks out the room. Third, so I ended up calling the referring office and asking them to send my lab results over. Today, As I'm being called to the back, I was ending a call on my cell phone that I took while in the waiting area and his nurse tells me (very rudely) "can you get off the phone"? "That's his pet peeve". Well I was already getting off the phone. While… waiting in the patient's room another nurse enters and proceeds to explain the preoperative procedures. As I am observablely hesitate about the extent of the procedure and express my concern to the nurse, I still had questions that only the doctor could answer, she walks out the room and I overhear her and Miranda outside the room speaking very negatively about me having questions about the procedure in which was more extensive than he mentioned on my initial visit. He walks in the room very arrogant and speaks to me very rudely, while insulting my intelligence. His exact words, "are you understanding, are you following me"? Before I knew it, I immediately let him know I'm not mentally challenged and I understand well. He gets very defensive and blurts out "I'm trying to help you I will just refer you to someone else that can do the procedure". I can only speak about my experience but I wouldn't refer a stray to Dr. Miranda.

I recently broke my wrist. Dr. Maranda performed surgery and I have had two visits. He could instantly see that I was in pain for office visit so immediately took care of that issue which I appreciated. He came across as very effective, quick but thorough on surgery day. I can see where some patients may want more bedside manner but for me I as very satisfied with his care. His PA is extremely helpful also.

If your wife has an appointment with this guy, you better accompany her! He was very rude to her, acted irritated that she was even there, and basically called her a liar about her pain because "she didnt make a face" when she said it hurt. He also said she was "too young" to have any issues and basically blew her off as well as the nurse. My wife was shocked, appalled at his manners, and immediately cancelled all further appointments with him. We will not use him again. Avoid at all costs!

Dr Miranda fixed my wrist, and I am very pleased, he knows what he is doing!, and does not lie to you! Office staff is great too!

Dr Miranda tells you like it is!, and I appreciate that. He is proffesional , gets to the point and solve problems!, thanks you!

I would never recommend anyone to this doctor, he doesn’t care how you feel, doesn’t matter that you are in pain or cannot move your wrist, doesn’t spend more than 5 minutes with you, he should spend some time to investigate why your wrist is like this 8 weeks after surgery, got a 2nd opinion and I do have issues with my wrist and we are working on solutions, he just threw his hands up in the air and said I can do nothing for you, I was not happy with where I was left.

I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands & I am totally satisfied with the outcome! Not only was I happy with the surgeon, but also on the PA & nurses, and the receptionists. Overall a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Miranda & his coworkers!
