This was the absolute worst doctor visit I have ever had in my life. He was extremely rude and said I was lying to him and that he was mad and angry and then refuse to see me. Then he screamed and yelled private information about me in the hallway where people in the waiting room could even here.

Dr Robinowicz your the best. After you performed prostate surgery on me I am able to urinate as I did when I was many years younger. I only wish I had gone to you sooner and not been so afraid to address this issue. Also thank you for coming by the hospital checking in on me to make sure I was being taken care of by the hospital staff. Thank You Thank You Thank You Your the best!! For sure you are a doctor that cares about your patients and you should be recognized for it. PS you have the greatest staff.....

For diagnosis of cancer, doctor explained how diagnosis was made, gave clear and complete explanation of treatment - options with pros and cons - and told us what follow up we should have. His explanations were very clear and complete. He answered all of our questions. Manner was patient, kind and unhurried. He has top-notch credentials. I would highly recommend him.

After receiving my referral I scheduled an appointment with urologist, Dr. Diego Rubinowicz. On the day before my appointment a representative from Dr Rubinowiczs office called to tell me they would have to reschedule my appointment because the Dr was going on vacation I found this short notice to be unprofessional but rescheduled for the following day. Surely the doctor knew he was going on vacation with more than 24 hours notice. My friend that was providing transportation for me also had to rearrange his schedule to accommodate the new appointment time.I arrived at my appointment early and was taken back to the examining room 20 minutes later. On the way to the examining room I was asked if Id like to empty my bladder before the procedure (cystoscoopy). So I did.I was very anxious about the procedure and the nurse was very kind and comforting. She asked me to change and then I was instructed to get on the table, put my feet in stirrups etc. I was then left alone in the room for… about 15 minutes. After that long as you can imagine I was quite uncomfortable and cold.During that time I (and parties in the waiting room) overheard Dr Rubinowicz repeatedly scolding his staff in a very loud and hostile demeanor.Then I overheard him tell the nurse I was going to have to provide a urine sample before he could do the cystoscopy. She came in and repeated that information to me. I told her I doubted I could since immediately before going into the examining room I had emptied my bladder. But I would try. So I got dressed went to their restroom. Fortunately I was able to provide the sample however as I was in the restroom I overheard Dr Rubinowicz continuing his loud and hostile tirade toward his staff and even telling them they might as all go home and he wasnt going to pay them. When I came out of the restroom. The doctor and his staff were all together at the check in/out desk by the door and I told them I was not comfortable having the doctor treat me in his current frame of mind.I then walked into the waiting and told the person providing my transportation that there was no way I could let someone that angry perform an invasive procedure on me.At that point Dr Rubinowicz opened the door to the waiting room and in a very loud hostile voice instructed me that I shouldnt talk to his patients. My friend (and transportation) told him, Im not your patient Im her ride. There were two other people in the waiting room and frankly I would be totally surprised if they didnt follow suit and flee the hostile environment the doctor was creating as well.After our departure my friend told me all three people that were in the waiting room heard Dr. Rubinowiczs ongoing tirade.As a foot note I want to say all interactions with Dr Rubinowiczs staff were handled very professionally.

I have had a large bladder stone removed, a prostate biopsy, several transurethral resection surgeries, and a couple of cystoscope procedures done by Dr. Rubinowicz. He is an excellent, caring doctor who treats his patients very well. The staff is also extremely caring, and professional.

Dr. Rubinowicz is a top-notch, pleasant, and caring urologist. He approaches clinical issues logically and answers questions willingly and correctly. Highly recommended.
