Dr. Picardo is so compassionate, skilled, and caring. She values the quality of life for the patient in their journey with cancer. In our case, the cancer was terminal and I was incredibly grateful that she provided us options for extending my mother's time here with us. We didn't choose the option that would give the most time but with a dreadful quality of life. We chose a less drastic option that provided some time to enjoy some outings, celebrations and holidays and was easier on the patient to tolerate. She was inspirational with her compassion. Her practice was absolutely the right place for our family. When it came time to say goodbye to Dr. Pichardo we all felt she and her staff had become part of the family. Incredibly caring and competent place to help guide you on your journey and explore every option.

Never had I expected the care, compassion, and medical know-how that I received from Dr. Pichardo. From the very start of 2 emergency surgery to the completion of 6 months of follow up care, I was treated like a family member with a full description, both positive and negative, of every possible scenario. Dr. P not only explained what she was doing, but after hours of research, referred me to what turned out to be some of the country's most competent and skilled surgeons. To this day, Dr. P keeps in contact with me in the most professional manner with health questions and life extending conversations. My family and myself are forever grateful to Dr. Pichardo!

Being diagnosed with cancer is scary. It's great to have a knowledgeable physician you can trust, and who is also a pleasure to talk to. My questions are always answered to my satisfaction. It's a bonus that she's open about alternative approaches. Her staff is great too.

Dr Diely Pichardo is been my Oncologist since I was diagnosed with breast Cancer last year at my 38 year of age, she recommended me to do preventative Chemotheraphy due to my young age with this Diagnosed and to try to prevent an aggressive recurrence in the future, thanks to her loving,caring and positive attitude I took the decision of getting 6 months of chemotherapy to prevent recurrence, thanks to her and her wonderful staff 1 year after my completion of chemotheraphy, I can Happily say IM A BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR, thank you Dr Diely Pichardo, my family and I will be for ever grateful of you, if I ever have to recommend any Oncologist, I will recommend her ?? ????

Loses records. Misdiagnoses patients. Threaten poor patients. Staff plays on the phone. Bills wrong insurance company. Tried to write a more lengthy review; the system wouldn't accept my examples of this entities' pure incompetence. I'd be dead if I'd stayed with them...

Dr. Pichardo provides the gold standard of care. She will really listen to you and do everything in her power to help you survive and heal. As to the negative reviews, sometimes cancer is fatal, and there is no alternative but to blame the doctor, shooting the messenger for bad news. That said, Dr. Pichardo will not sugar-coat your diagnosis, but will respect you and tell you the truth, however difficult. But make no mistake, you can trust her with your life. I know; I did, and I am six years cancer free!
