Dr. Diem-Phuong Ngoc Tran

I went to see Dr. Tran for a shoulder injury I've suffered from for close to two decades. I've seen other doctors about this, and she's the first one I feel actually listened to me. She was very patient and outlined all my various options for treatment. She also helped navigate the mess that is our medical insurance system. This was the first time I've seen her, and I felt like she genuinely cared about helping me get better. I've been to a lot of mediocre doctors who are too arrogant to listen to you and seem too busy to bother with you. Dr. Tran is the first truly excellent doctor I've seen since childhood. I had an excellent experience, and if you're looking for a new PCP, I highly recommend her.

If I could give her zero stars I would. Worst doctor ever! Zero care for her patients. I went for three different concerns about my health and she told me that if I had all those concerns I should have made multiple appoitments. I told her that didn’t make any sense and how am I going to be making three different appointments for each thing? She said that’s how it is and I told her that I have never heard something like that before and that it seems like all she cares is the about the money she makes from her patients. She literally didn’t give me any information about my health. Didn’t tell me what I have or what I could possibly have. And on top of that she walked away without even letting me know that the appointment was done. She is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. She clearly went to school to be a doctor for the status and money that the career gives her, but not because she actually cares about helping people.

Do yourself a favor and get another doctor. She will snap at you for asking questions or just ignore you altogether. Very poor bedside manner particularly to Vietnamese patients who cannot speak English. She is very nice to her nurses, though.

Very Rude and judgmental. Make me uncomfortable to ask question because of her harsh tone and attitude.
