Dr. Digna Rilcopiro Moya, MD

Dr Moya was my primary doctor for about a year. Everything was going well until I started getting neck/back pain from an old injury. She is way too quick to pass the buck to a specialist without trying to resolve the issue on the primary level. She seemingly had no interest in hearing how I felt and what kind of pain I was in. She is absolutely terrified of prescribing any pain meds and even intentionally misinformed me regarding Tramadol. Apparently she had no clue that it can be given in Q of 50 per prescription. Again way too quick to dump you off to a pain management doctor. So I left and went back to my old PCP who is much more open minded and has a wider thinking scope.

Dr. Moya is the most thorough doctor I have ever had. If I have anything done she goes through and explains every little thing she tells me what my levels are what they should be...she is amazing and I am always confident after leaving my appointment that everything that could possibly be wrong she has ruled out and checked. She is amazing!!!

Making an appt. is easy & they can get you in pretty quickly if need be. Wait time is about 10 minutes in the waiting room & then another 10 after the nurse takes your vitals. Dr. Moya takes the time to review your chart before she comes in. So, there is no guessing or going over & over what you have discussed in the past. When you do have an issue, she takes her time to really research the issue & what the best course of action to take will be. She follows up with the issue & even if the issue is over, she double checks at future appts. that the problem has not returned or if your other dr has followed up on their part. When she finds that you need to see a specific type of dr for an issue, she has a referral list of drs to see & her staff will actually make the appt to see that dr for you before you leave her office! Her bedside manner is top notch! The staff is great. They not only have all of your info before you get up to the counter for future appts., they have your labs… & prescriptions ordered already! I had an issue with my insurance company & her staff was angry about what they were doing. So, her staff actually called the insurance company for me to fix it! They really go over & beyond there. I have been to so many drs. who have rushed me & brushed me aside to get the the next appointment. It is not like that here. They really take their time with you & make sure everything is addressed before you leave.
