Dr. Dijana Talic Christianson, DO

Dr. Christianson diagnosed my RA in a very timely matter! Throughout this physical roller coaster we call RA, she has kept me up and going and that’s no small feat!! She’s the sweetest and most caring doctor I’ve ever been to!! She listens when you talk, and she hears you!! I feel blessed to have her as my rheumatologist !!

1st she told me I had a disease that the test showed I didn't have. She referred me to another Dr who said he had no idea why she set up a consult as the initial test was negative. He ran a 2nd test anyway, which also came back negative. Once back to see her, she tells me she'll send in the Prescription for a supplement necessary in conjunction with the med she was prescribing. My pharmacy never received that supplement Prescription, which held me up from starting the important medication. When I called her office to inquire, I didnt hear back for days. I left another message...a day later I received a call back. The assistant said she called a number I specifically had said didnt work, (and had left a correct number to call). A few days back and forth over a supplement, I told the assistant that after this experience I had tremendous concern with Dr. Christianson as my doctor. Once I spelled out all my concerns of the Dr's negligence, the assistant all of a sudden had the answer from… Dr. Christianson. Then I received a certified letter in the mail notifying me she has dropped me as a patient due to my "interaction with our staff, this (physician/patient) trust has been lost...". So she will give false diagnoses, say she will submit required prescriptions and then won't, will not take the time to respond to inquiries (until strongly questioned). Heaven forbid if you call her out on it to her staff, because then you are canceled as her patient. In seeking a Rheumatologist, I remember reading other reviews from those that stated Dr. Christianson canceled them as patients for various reasons. I didn't think much of it...I should have taken heed of the reviews. My main point, if you have her as a Dr., be your own advocate and double check EVERYTHING, and for goodness sake...don't dare question her...she'll drop ya!

not enough time spent with new symptoms and discussion

After suffering for 8+ years of chronic pain throughout my body, Dr. Christianson finally diagnosed me with RA. While I was not happy about my diagnosis, I knew that there WERE treatments available. She has been working with me for almost one year and I feel as if I have a lot of my life back! Thank you Dr. Christianson for not giving up and digging into my blood work to find the answer!

It took me a few visits to get to know her but it was worth the effort! She's an amazing caring dr!!!

Dr. Christianson takes time with me to explain things and answers my questions so that I can understand them. I would definitely recommend her.

My experience with Dr. Christianson is very good. She is very professional, courteous, very caring. I have many health issues going on and she is trying I think her best to help me. She spends a good amount of time with me and answers all of my Husband's questions. She goes over every thing she is doing or wants to try in detail and I for one, appreciate that. Most of this stuff is way over my head, but she sits down and explains it in "normal" terms that we can understand.

Dr. Christianson is excellent! She is very professional yet compassionate. I've been to several rheumatologists and she is definitely the best! Top notch!!!

Wanted to take me off all my meds given by other Drs. She wanted to take me off my lupus meds cold turkey! Which will cause a flare and I will end up in the hospital again. She is a PT pusher and is not considerate of others.
