After being a patient for 11 years I became very ill. Called Dr Patel's office only to be told he could not see me for 2 weeks. My Primary took one look at me and sent me to the hospital. They couldn't figure out what was wrong but knew tests should be ordered. No matter how many phone calls and visit s I made to Dr Patel he kept saying it is only your IBS which I knew it wasn't. I moved, sick, to another state and there I have found a caring Gastroenterologist who right away knew more testing was needed. I was finally diagnosed with gastropareis which requires a total change of diet. After months of not being treated correctly it now appears I will have this condition for life. Sometimes your doctor does not have your best interest at heart. He refused tests I knew I needed.
