Dr. Dillon Tyson Atwood, DDS

Dr. Atwood was absolutely amazing from beginning til end. He facilitated my mothers surgery. She is in her 70's and this was so nerve wracking for me for her have to go under for hours. I had grave concerns and questions. Dr. Atwood answered every question and was so gentle, patient, and thorough with my mother. He caters his work to each individual patient and I was at peace the whole time. He constantly followed up with me after to make sure she was ok and to inform me on what the next few days would look like for her healing journey. He rearranged his schedule to be by my moms side and honestly that is so rare to find someone to be so accommodating in this field. He is outstanding and an honor to have as your anesthesiologist.

Dr. Atwood was excellent. I am an extreme case where I hasn’t had blood work, dentistry, etc. for 16+ years. I elected to undergo General Anesthesia and it could not have been more comfortable, quick, and painless. Dr. Atwood was extremely professional, caring, and sympathetic to my situation and the degree of fear I had. Don’t let the anxiety control your life for as long as I did - Dr. Atwood is an amazing option and I was lucky to find him.

We have a special needs daughter who has to be sedated when undergoing any dental procedure. Dr. Atwood has been an answer to prayer! He is very patient, loving, kind and provided the very best care for her. He is extremely professional and truly an expert in dental anesthesiology. He allowed us to sit with her to keep her calm as she was being sedated and then after the procedure, called us in to sit beside her as she was waking up so that she would see us first and before anyone else. Dr. Atwood also called us later in the day to see how she was doing. She was playing happily in her room as if nothing at all had happened that morning! We highly recommend Dr. Atwood to everyone, especially those who need extra time and patience, extra gentle care and understanding before a procedure. Thank you, Dr. Atwood. We are so deeply grateful for your professionalism, expertise and also, for going the extra mile in making our daughter's dental experience as safe and as comfortable as… possible.

Dr. Atwood performed anesthesia on my two youngest children, ages 4 and 6. I felt extremely comfortable with his knowledge and thorough care. Being a registered nurse, myself, I am very cautious about any medical procedures. I felt well prepared for our visit, and was also prepared for our release from care. He called me the night before to go over any last minute questions and concerns. He also called me the evening of the procedure day to make sure my children were doing well. We had a wonderful experience and I recommend Dr. Atwood to anyone in need of dental anesthesia.

After having a previous bad experience with being put to sleep I was nervous about having another sedation experience. Dr. Atwood listened to our concerns, reassured us of the procedure, and walked us through the steps. No nausea or feeling sick at all! He even called to check in after the procedure.
