Dr. Dillon Shakir Karmo, MD

I need medical transport to visit Dr. I have had legs amputated and have other health issues. I made apt with Dr karmo that was 3 months away. I got on a wait-list. Finally got an appt. so I called my transport (thru Humana insurance) Transport didn't call or show. I called Dr karmo office in tears. Told them what happened. Made another appt. Same thing. I filed a grievance against SafeRide the transport co. If you Google them, HUGE complaints. HUGE horrible complaints. I looked up other transports Cost was $78.00 EACH way. I cant afford that!. So, I called Karmo's office to make appt. and they said "Dr. Karmo dropped you" I asked if they had relayed my message about transport. She said they did and the Dr. DROPPED me. None of this was my fault. Gave the Dr. the contacts to verify my story. Didn't matter to him. Im 75 and waiting out in the snow for an hour both times, for transport. I even called Dr. Karmo to explain and cancel. I was hyperventilating I was so upset. I don't WANT a… Dr. that is NOT understanding like him. I am telling everyone I know. He is not interested in health of patients, only $. Hope this never happens to any of you:(
