Dr. Dilma C Ruiz, MD

My appendix was so infected and about to rupture it contained pus and was twisted around itself. The ER sent me to surgery the very next morning. Dr. Ruiz made me feel so comfortable and in such good hands when I was in so much pain and scared. Her sense of humor and consistent visits at the hospital made me feel comforted and the healing was going well although I had some issues because of my age she was wonderful! My sister is anticipating surgery and is already planning Dr. on Dr. Ruiz to remove her benign tumor I can’t say enough good things about her! And, I’m a lawyer! Lol

Had emergency surgery for perforated colon with peritonitis. Was hours from dying. Saved my life. Had good care with this surgeon

Dr Ruiz operated on me back in 2006. About a year later I started having severe stomach pains and vomiting. These episodes made me sick for three to four days at a time and happened off and on for six years. They were terrible. It wasn't until I went to the Methodist Stone Oak Emergency room during one of these times, that an MRI was done - showing that I had three staples inside of me. They were causing an intestinal blockage. Do NOT let this doctor operate on you!

Amazing doctor!!!! Saved my life. My appendix was removed. She made a very low cut because she was considerate enough, so I could wear a bikini if I chose to. Very caring. Reachable over the phone. When I called the office with a question, the doctor called me later in the day. You don't get that anywhere. Thank you doc!
