I think Dr. Adl is very knowledgeable and comprehensive. I only saw her once so far. I saw her for my asthma. You do have to see a Nurse Practitioner first. I don't feel this is necessary. I would recommend her highly, but this is only based on 1 visit.

Dr. Adl is a pleasant doctor. However, she didn't seem to be too concerned about my overall care. I have a respiratory disease that also affects other areas of my body. When I first saw Dr. Adl, she did what I consider to be a proper examination. She the suggested that I have a sleep study done. I complied, but when I got the results she told me that I was one point from being classified as having sleep apnea. Then she tells me that she was going to recommend and order me a CPAP machine anyway. I thought this was unusual, however, I like an idiot agreed. From that point on, when I would see her, she would only talk to me about sleep apnea. It wouldn't be much of a visit or conversation, because the machine she requested for me is a chip machine. Which meant that before I see her, I would have to mail in the chip to the company that supplied the machine, they would then download the info, send it in to Dr. Adl and send me back the cleared chip. So, since she had the results; there… wouldn't be much communicating. I repeatedly complained about my inability to sleep because of the machine, so her assistant prescribed me a medicine to only help me to get off to sleep. The things that made me to stop going to see her was... on one visit, I arrived at my exact time. When I checked in, I told the receptionist that I had a copay. She was so busy talking to other workers and answering the phone till, she forgot to process my copay. Which meant that she had to go back into the system and my account to process it. Then she started having trouble with the printer. In the meantime, they called my name to go to the examination room. The receptionist told the nursing assistant that she was trying to give me my copy of the receipt. While I was waiting, the next scheduled appt. came in. When I finally got to the examination room, Dr. Adl walked in calling me by the next patients name, turned around and walked out, and went across the hall to the other patients room. She sent her assistant in to take care of me. I didn't like that at all. I was not the reason for the delay in her seeing me, it was the receptionist and their faulty printer. The assistant is not a doctor and she can't address my concerns properly. And still, that visit lasted all of 5 minutes. The last visit I had with Dr. Adl, she did he usual; which was to give me the results of the CPAP machine and end our visit. She got up to walk out the door and I had to tell her to wait. Then I preceeded to tell her that my breathing had been giving me some issues. She wrote out a prescription for an albuterol and walked out. She didn't ask my any questions, listen to my breathing or anything. Just wrote and left. That was becoming the norm for our visits. Only talying about the CPAP results, and not checking or asking about my other issues. I started seeing this doctor because of my respiratory problems and making sure that my disease isn't doing any further damage. Not for sleep apnea, and a machine that I didn't need. So, I don't bother going to see her. I'm happy to hear that she's the perfect doctor for some, butshe isn't for me. Also, that albuterol was completely useless. Perhaps, if she had took time out to ask me about it and listen to my lungs--- she could have given me the right one.

Dr. Adl treated my spouse for sleep-related issues. There were numerous concerns with the CPAP machine and the provider, especially with pressure. During the last doctor's visit, a nurse practitioner covered the appointment, questioned the patient's pressure complaints (condescending), and suggested that she would be in touch after talking with Dr. Adl. Two weeks passed, never heard back, and the machine became intolerable. After calling the office twice for a solution, they finally contacted the machine provider to learn that my spouse was corrected and an adjustment was needed. By that time, we'd already packed the machine away and moved on. At an earlier appointment with Dr. Adl, we apprised of her of the poor service, no coaching as promised, from the CPAP provider and requested a change. Dr. Adl, suggesting there were other companies, did NOT want the current provider to know that SHE had made mention of other companies or a possible change. The CPAP company management apologized… to us for their lack of attention and service. Please do your homework before considering this physician and the challenges associated with treatment.

Dr. Adl is a sweet woman but not the right physician for me. If you like a physician who is authoritarian, who will tell you what to do without really getting to know you, then she will be good for you. I prefer a physician who wants to get to know and collaborate with me. This is not her style.

Receptionist not courteous she make mistakes and tries to convince you that the mistake was yours. Rude when seeking copay. Overall rating for receptionist is a D.

Dr. Adl is everything I hope in a Dr. and so rarely find; good listener thoughtful questioner, calm, accurate options presented, very intelligent and compassionate.
