Dr. Dimitar Zhelyazkov Dimitrov, MD

I was very fortunate to have found Dr. Dimitrov. He is a very thorough doctor, a very kind gentleman, and he cares very much about his patients. If ever I have to have any testing done at the hospital or with a specialist, he is out of the examining room for 3 minutes tops with all my information necessary, my appointment, time, location, and any papers I may need. He has a wonderful, caring staff that complement his expertise.

He is so informative!!! Excellence in bed side manner. Great listener! Does not rush you in and out.Has genuine care for his patients...Refreshing to find such a sincerely dedicated physician ..

Dr. Dimitrov spent plenty of time with me, asked a lot of questions, zeroed in on problems and was very kind and attentive.

Doc is OK, His accent can make it a little tough to understand him. I have been to him a few times and he spent a lot of time listening to my concerns. I found his honesty refreshing. The ancillary staff is wonderful, easy to get an appointment and the longest I've had to wait to see him is 15 minutes.

I do not recommend this md. He lacks communication skills, made me feel like a second class citizen, didn't listen or remember any info I gave him, he actually caught and stopped himself from referring to me as being _______years old. (he meant to say something to the effect that I was no spring chicken) OH YES he is that RUDE! He also treated me as if I were an alien from another planet looking for oxy (no, i do not engage in illegal drugs or Oxy, never have, never will! I dont even smoke cigarettes or pot! I would say that he stereotyped me without even knowing me-- he sort of acted like a new ,cocky type paramedic, aka " a paragod" but --i am not the newby, he is. Make no mistake, the office staff and senior physician are awesome, felt like home so much that it hurts me to write this but I am being honest. Maybe in about 10-20 years (one can only hope) this md will be able to think "out of the box" but even with that said, he has to work on his mannerism and godlike… attitide. Hope this helps. (again, this is not in any way to reflect on the staff or senior MD in that group, I am only rating the md named above.
