Dr. Dimitrios Kapogiannis, MD

There are not enough words to describe our family's appreciation towards Dr. Kapogiannis. From the very second we stepped foot in the Memory Center, we were greeted by two courteous & helpful receptionists. Next, we met with a kind and caring nurse. Finally, we were honored with meeting Dr. K. After struggling to understand my father's condition for over a year, Dr. K. clarified the questions that existed & helped point us in the right direction, on what has been a long and very confusing journey. Dr. K's knowledge, compassion, and kindness were admirable. His thorough evaluation of my father & the time he spent interviewing both me and my mother are things that put us at ease and convinced us that my father's care was finally in very good hands. We left the appointment feeling hopeful and encouraged and they are two feelings that my family was starting to lose sight of. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. K. and look forward to our follow-up visit in the near future.

Dr. Kapogiannis was the most unprofessional Dr I have ever encountered in my life. He had me do balance tests & I had a great difficulty doing them I was falling over & he processed to tell me & my husband that I had no balance problems or walking problems what??? He had me try & feel with my eyes closed my fingers that he was touching I could not do it I cannot feel anything in my hands. He said that was normal. I could not do the finger to nose test he said I could. He said I was fine when other dr.s clearly said I had problems in these areas. My husband was in the room & saw I COULD NOT do what he was asking me!!! He said basically I was crazy & should go back to work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant & lift pts. with tremors & weakness in both my arms & not to mention my memory problems. I also walk with a cane I cannot do this job? I did not appreciate & neither did my husband him saying everything is in my head when clearing I have physical signs of a problem. … Terrible Dr. wasted my time coming out of state to see him. I hope no one else goes through what I went through!!!!!
