WARNING-Stay away!!!! If you want a doctor and a practice that helps you in your time of need this facility and doctors are not it. I was unfortunately assigned dr DIMITRIY KONDRASHOV, by my workman’s compensation for a back injury. I was waiting 2 months for this appointment. When I got there with all my MRI images and report I was told that I would need the CD as well. No one has asked this from me not any of my PT and primary care doctors and no one told me it would be needed. Also if it was needed the dr and facility had every right and power to retrieve it prior to my appointment. His nurse advised me since I do not have the CD they would need to take X-rays. This didn’t make sense since I had an extensive MRI imaging done and I said no to X-rays since I have a high rate of cancer in my family and have already been exposed to too much radiation from CT scans in the past, you have a right to advocate for your own health remember that. The nurse told Dr DIMITRIY KONDRASHOV this and… can you believe he refused to see me, not even showing any care At All and not even coming into the examination room to see me. Wow!! I never felt so betrayed by a dr in my life. He could have came out looked at my reports and images on paper which every other doctor has done and given me a preliminary explanation of what’s going on while we set up a next appointment where I can bring in the CD. But no I was asked to leave in pain with no attention or treatment or anything. The facility and staff clearly did not care for me or my best interest but wanted to charge me unneeded X-rays ( from the facility as they have the machines in house) so you’re getting the picture here now? So instead of care they wanted to put me in an uncompromising position all so they can make more money and all because I said no and refused this service and unnecessary radiation I was refused help completely . So here I am warning all the people out there contemplating on using this facility and staff to pivot and to spare you the troubles and experience that I went through trying to seek medicaL help from this institution but most importantly dr DIMITRIY KONDRASHOV who would rather make money then to help an ailing patient in desperate needs. What a coward and honestly not the doctor I would see or ever recommend. I bid you well on your journey to healing and I hope this warning reaches you before it is too late.

Dr. Kondrashov was pleasant, listened well, and gave me a thorough exam before deciding on a diagnosis. Looking at my MRI, he explained that my condition fortunately did not warrant surgery, so I was pleased with his honesty. He carefully explained what other pain relieving procedures I could undertake, and he referred me to his colleague that specializes in pain management.

Excellent specialist! Same day after surgery the pain from sciatica nerve has disappeared and I could walk. Whole team is also very good. Anesthesiologist didn't overdose medication and I wasn't confused after all. I've heard a lot of good recommendations for Dr. Kondrashov before surgery and at now I could support them. Thank you, Dmitry, from bottom of my heart!

I injured my pelvis when I was 8.5 months pregnant, and never got my body back. Back pain increased over the years. When my daughter was eight, I bend over to pick up the keys I had dropped, and couldn't stand up again. My physiatrist investigated my back, vertebrae by vertebrae, and came into the room with a very grave look on his face. He told me he had never diagnosed a patient with this condition before, but my sacral iliac joints (joints on the back of the pelvis) were severely damaged and needed to be fused. However, I was in luck. One of the best surgeons in the country for this was nearby in San Francisco, Dimitriy Kondrashov. I was overwhelmed by this diagnosis, as was my husband. My husband is a physician, and happened to work with two pelvic trauma surgeons who had been trained in part by Dr. Kondrashov. They sang high praises of him. As did other physicians and surgeons my husband spoke with in doing his research. Dr. Kondrashov has a kind and excellent bedside manner. But,… my insurance would not pay for my much needed surgery. I basically could not function in life. Kondrashov fought with my insurance for over a year, with no avail. Finally, the implant company opened a study that Kondrashov was a participant in, and I qualified. I ended up with two surgeries, getting both my left and right sacral iliac joints fused. (We never could have afforded to pay cash, each surgery cost $100K at the time) The surgeries were a success! I have zero pain in my SI joints, almost immediately after surgery. The recovery was not easy, and took almost a year. I belong to a couple of online communities about this surgery, and many (possibly most) patients do not have good outcomes. I put those patients into two categories: crappy surgeons and patients who cannot fuse. Dr. Kondrashov is an excellent surgeon. My fusions were flawless. My only criticism of the practice is the wait time. An average visit would take two to two and a half hours: arrive and check in, go get x-rays (which requires checking in, waiting, and getting the films done), then return to Dr. K's office and wait to see him, then the actual appointment. The staff was very nice, especially his PA. I am incredibly grateful to have had Dr. Kondrashov available to me in my time of need. My surgery is a rare surgery, and there are a number of surgeons who do it to make a quick buck. Dr. K is NOT one of those docs. He takes great pride in his work. And is a good guy. I miss seeing him.

if it were not for dr kondrashove I would still be on pain meds. he always personally called me back, and he found an answer for my permanent nerve damage. he fought my insurance, and I am pain free and doing per recs for nursing now. I could never have gone to school if it weren't for him. he always calls me when I call his assistant with a question , he takes his time when he sees me as a patient, and calls me by name, even asking how my family is. I have had a lot of experience in the medical field and dr. Kondrashov is by far one of the most compassionate surgeons I have ever met!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER BEEN TREATED THE WAY THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS HAVE STATED. I was In pain for two years and misdiagnosed by four surgeons before I met dr. Kondrashov!!!! :-)

I believe this doctor is most obviously in it for all the MONEY he can make. A patient feels like part of the cattle waiting so long to be called to see him. Follow-up is totally the patient's responsibility. I would never recommend him.
