Dr. Dina Maria Di Maggio, MD

I have been going to doctor Dina since my children were born and every visit has been absolutely splendid. She talks to my children before she does anything so their always comfortable with anything and everything she does. I would trust my life with her. I would always recommend her and the rest of her fellow staff. If I could I would give her ten billion stars. Please check her out.

Dr. DiMaggio has seen my children from infancy to the teen years. She is a thorough and smart practitioner with a wonderful, soothing, kind manner. Can't ask for more!

We started seeing Dr DiMaggio when my kids were little and we lived close to the park slope office. My family has moved to Long Island but we love her bedside manner and continue to travel to see her from Long Island. She is worth the traffic and car ride..

My 5 year old daughter loves her and often pretends to be Dr Dina! I love that she explains what she is going to do before she does it so my daughter is not scared and that she asks my five year if she has any questions.

We have been seeing her since our daughter was born. She always answers all of our new parent questions, is reassuring, knowledgeable, patient, and we love that we never feel rushed. She often tells us she rather us call with any questions then rely on google and we definitely take her up on the offer! Totally recommend her to all of our friends who are expecting!

We were assigned this dr in a practice of 10 docs when ours wasn't able to see us. She was curt, flippant, condescending and dismissive. I'm sure on paper she is more than qualified, but why would you choose pediatrics if you have no emotional connection to kids???

The only problem i have with Dr. Dimaggio is that she goes a little too much by the book. In my opinion she does not get that all children develop at different stages. I mean she asked my two year old whether he was a boy or a girl and when he did not answrer she said that by that age they're supposed to know what sex they associate with. Most two year olds i know don't....but she thought that was a problem ......beats me? Besides that i think she is nice and with a little bit more experience would make a good doc.

I love going to her. She is always comforting, but also is honest and straightforward. All the doctors in the practice are wonderful.
