Dr. Dina Annette Lew, DDS

I went to Dr. Dina A. Lew's office for jaw discomfort and pain. Dr. Lew's staff was extremely kind, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Lew, on the other hand, was rude, dismissive, impatient, and disrespectful! She recommended other products (toothpaste, floss, mouth rinse, supplements, etc.) that are expensive and that her office just happens to sell. How convenient. In addition, all of these items were completely out of my price range. (i.e.: the toothpaste that she recommended was $26 for a small tube). Dr. Lew seemed irritated that I wasn't going to follow all of her suggestions. I will NEVER go back. This is the worst dental experience I have ever had in my 65 years! Dr. Lew's staff is wonderful, but Dr. Dina A. Lew reminds me of a "snake oil salesman." Save your time, money, and aggravation.

I should’ve done this before, but I got my wisdom teeth taken out more than 10 years ago now, when I was 16, by Dina Lou. I went and got millions of milkshakes in Hollywood the same night because I felt fine. And I am someone who hates needles and had never gotten surgery. I had to have her give me laughing gas to even put an IV in. So when I went back five years later for a cyst in my lip, She asked me if I had outgrown my need for laughing gas for a needle now that I’m an adult thinking I probably had, nope I have not ha ha. And she gladly gave it to me for free. It was awesome. And she took the largest cyst out of my lip she has ever seen She said. And I have no issues and have not thought about it again since then, and it was five years ago. She’s amazing. My mom’s going next week for a consult for implants too! Happy 10 year plus customer :)

She is the best in my opinion. I have recommended 3 friends with teens for wisdom tooth removal. None of them have to take any pain meds or have any swollen face after and was able to resume regular activities immediately.

My daughter was home from college for winter break. She had a check up with her dentist who notified us of her wisdom teeth coming in. With my daughter being away at school and the fact that I have spent thousands of dollars in braces, I didn't want the wisdom teeth to offset the perfection. I called Dr. Lews office, she fit us in that afternoon. She and her staff came in early the very next day so my daughter could have her wisdom teeth extracted prior to returning to college! Amazing Staff!!! This was my 4th child to have their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Lew. I have nothing but great things to say about her and her staff!!!

I was referred by my daughter orthodontic off. The staff and Dr Lew were awesome. Dr Lew explained everything very detailed. I would highly recommend Dr Lew.

I went to see Dr. Lew as a second opinion to take out my wisdom teeth. After taking my blood pressure and looking my mouth, she actually told me I did not have to take my wisdom teeth out if I would floss them every day (not going to happen). I was surprised and liked the fact that she gave me a choice and a ton of articles to read about wisdom teeth and the blood's growth factor. I barely got 10 minutes with the other oral surgeon and he was ready to take them out on the same day. Dr. Lew called me the night before surgery (9pm) to ask if I had any questions and checked on me after the surgery too. Do Doctors do this? It's obvious she cares. Oh, and she gave me a bag full of medicines for after the surgery though I'm not sure I needed it. I would recommend anyone who needs to have a wisdom tooth pulled to see Dr. Lew.

Let me just start off by saying I have never felt more comfortable in a dental chair then I did when I sat down with Dr. Lew. I am the type of person who gets extreme anxiety when it comes to any type dental work, especially Oral Surgery. From the get go Dr. Lew was very comforting and reassuring that everything would be fine. As she was extracting my tooth she had noticed some infection and bone loss that was not noticeable in my x-rays, so she immediately called a periodontist to get a second opinion on whether or not she should place a bone graft in the extraction site. It turned out I did need bone grafting done (which she did at no extra charge). Dr. Lew is truly a one of a kind doctor. Its so nice to know that there are still doctors out there who really care about their patients and want to help them in the best way. I would recommend Dr. Lew to anyone and everyone for any type of oral surgery!!

I was referred to this doctor by my orthodontist. I called to make an appointment and she says nothing is available for 2 months! So I call in the day of my appointment (2 months later) to confirm my own appointment, and the receptionist tells me it will be $175 for the consult! I ask, Just to see her and ask her about her procedures and whether or not I'm a good candidate? And she says yes, 99% of the time we'll need to remove your wisdome teeth. I was appalled that she said such a thing over the phone; WITHOUT having seen my teeth or Xrays yet! What a ploy I thought. These folks are out to make a buck at any cost! Don't go there!
