Dr. Podrug is compassionate and artful in assessing and treating the issues presented. We are very grateful to him.

This man is dangerous and cannot be trusted. He grabbed a pill from his cabinet and forced me to take it or was going to hospitalize me. I am a female, and felt unsafe. He said he was in control. I called him out on his behavior a couple of days after the incident. He didn’t think it was inappropriate. No one, especially a Dr. should or will disregard how they make another human feel especially their patients. I decided to never see or speak to him. He had me on a certain medication and if he listened, he would have realized that the this medication was not benefiting me but hurting me. I went through withdrawal, and feel much better. He doesn’t listen and does not know what medication he prescribes. He doesn’t write it down, you must remind him and text him. The pills he kept pushing were not working for me and he didn’t care. He forgets to call in medication and would go on vacation. He didn’t care if you were going through withdrawal. He calls in the wrong… medication. He forgets appointments, he’s late. He would apologize and blame his age for his memory loss. Females needs to be careful again, as he has boundary issues. He would get up from his chair and sit next to you on his sofa, when he was explaining an insurance statement. He violates your confidentiality by speaking to your friends/family without your consent and continues when you tell him to stop. If this Dr. listened, he would have realized that the pills he prescribed were the issue. This man is capable of ruining your life.

In a city filled with MDs and shrinks stacking people up and not having a genuine interest in patients r. Podrug is a true exception. He has a genuine warmth and caring and an extraordinary knowledge of the field

Podrug never listened and had to constantly reminded of core issues. He is a pill pusher who refuses to develop an actual treatment plan. He has boundary and professionalism issues, often calling me 'such a cute girl'. He took phone calls during my sessions even though I told him it was offensive. He was ofter 15-20 mins late to appointments and talked about himself and how much money he made. Based on my experience, I think it would be very unsafe for women to see him. Whenever I called him out on the lack of progress or treatment plan and lack of goal setting, he would say that I had transference issues. He is really creepy in that way. When I ended my treatment with him I requested that he not contact me again. Not only did he continue to call and text me, he sent me a very inappropriate passive aggressive letter about my "failures as a patient" and that I should really work on my transference issues. I went to him for help, but he was clearly the one who was unwell.
