Dr. Bertini is the most skillful, compassionate and dedicated dentist in the world! I travel all the way from the CA for him to oversee my dental treatment. You will not find better than Dr. Bertini and his amazing staff.

Dr. Bertini is intelligent, highly skilled in his craft, sensitive and fully attentive. He has been my dentil and my family’s dentist for over 10 years. Most recently I had a stain on my front teeth that was a challenge to diagnose and correct. My two front teeth are now clear and white. Dr. Bertini corrected old crowns and has the aesthetic ability to work on teeth to look great. Great bedside manner and kind. He works with my husband and two young adult children. We are all happy. We are greatful to him and is amazing staff!!!

I went to have my 3rd dental cleaning at the office, which was good. However, at the end of the cleaning Dr. Bertini came in the room without asking if I wanted a consultation, took less than 60 seconds looking at my teeth, and when I went to pay I was charged $50 for the "consultation". During the previous cleaning I made very clear that I do my dental treatments in Brazil with my niece, that I was going there for the cleaning ONLY, that's why I always decline doing the x-rays. I should have been asked if I wanted a consultation, especially when he knows about that. Also, if I have a consultation with a dentist I expect that it would last more than a few seconds. Hard to believe that a professional would act this way just to try to squeeze $50 from a patient. The receptionist that took care of me was very rude just because I said that I didn't want to pay for the 60 sec. "consultation", as if she herself was going to lose the money. She told me that I should have said that I didn't… want the "consultation", but actually I had no time for that, Dr. Bertini stormed into the room and went straight to my mouth. I had no idea what was going on. Actually, I should have been asked if I wanted a consultation since my appointment was only for a dental cleaning. It was obviously a "trap" to get an extra $50 from me. Too bad, I'll have to look for another dental hygienist, but that's OK, there thousands in NYC. One more thing worth mentioning, the first time I went for a dental cleaning I had the x-rays done + a consultation, Dr. Bertini told me I had to extract one molar and place an implant. I went to Brazil and my nice saw no need to extract the tooth, she changed the crown that was on it and I still have my tooth, which I would have lost if I had listened to Dr. Bertini. So, why would i want a consultation with him? I don't trust him to take care of my teeth.
