Dr. Dino James Delaportas, MD

Waited for my first appointment for an hour, and was there for my last for an hour and a half, before I just finally got up and left! The most inconsiderate doctor that I have ever encountered!

My husband has been in the hospital every 2 weeks or so for about 10 days each with blood infections. They can't find the cause of his infections. After being discharged, he has follow - up appointments with Delaportis, however, by the time the appointment time roles around, he is back in the hospital. I was missing a lot of work and submitted FMLA papers to Dr. Delaportis' office. My husband had a PICC line in and we had nurse visits and telehealth with Delaportis. Every week I was missing 2-3 days of work because of this. He REFUSED to sign the paperwork, stating he had not seen my husband for a month, which was not true. Also, whether an office visit, or telehealth visit, you have to wait on him, as he is always about 1.5 hours late, and then rushes you. Wish there were other Infectious Disease doctors at Mon Health so we could get rid of him.

Waited for over 2 hours to see this doctor, with my mother-in-law, when waiting room was empty. He was quick to come to the waiting room and personally escort drug rep back to his office. I guess the reviews about getting kick backs from Medicare and Insurance are true. I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years and this sounds like fraud and abuse to me. Save yourself the time and money by staying clear of this so called "Doctor".

just wanted everyone to know, my husband was in uhc hospital. this doctor never once showed up for a visit in the room . my husband was there 12 days, but this man sure loves your medicare card. He never comes to your room or visits but makes sure you get those meds that he gets a kickback on and not to mention when they admit you to the hospital as well. He had his medical license taken away in florida and had two lawsuits. People beware of all doctors !!!

ignors symptoms , late with his patients, cancelations with his appointments, no regard to his patients wellnes, even if they are in pain with cancer, late filling drug orders, late answering other dr request for patient care or hospice care, overall awful dr. I expect a dr who cares for his and others in . 17 years with one patient is long enough to know them and make the proper calls to help their symptoms.

I feel horrible that my appointment coincided with Dr. Delaportas' personal business. I was shocked that he stepped out to take numerous personal cell phone calls which I overheeard - they did sound like good dinner plans though. I'll make sure he's not busy next time I feel ill. VERY unprofessional.

He has been mr Dr. for 17 years , He diagnosed problems I have hadand saved my leg when it was infected! I still see him on a month to month visit. I wouldnt have another Dr.
