Dr. Dinshaw Dossabhai Bamji, MD

Dr. Bamji is the consummate doctor, professional, and therapist. Enjoyin his work, he honors his profession, as he strives to assist the patient to feel better. A fine listener and communicator, Dr Bamji is fully engaged in easch session. As a practitioner, Dr. Bamji is superb. As a therapist, his is top notch, Par excellence. A doctor's skill can be measured by the his or her knowledge, expertise, and heart. Dr bamji possesses there wonderful qualities.He is a ^Gem of a Doctor.^ Dr. Bamji stays the course and goes the distance in behalf of his patients. Dr. Bamji is worthy of a 5 star rating. I'm fortunate to be his patient.

This doctor is not a professional one. He only wants to make money. I was unemployed and experienced marriage problems. I felt deeply depressed. I called him many times to set up an appointment. He did not reply my calls until one week later. In the evening of Monday (May 11, 2020), he called me and got my insurance info and set appointment at 1:00pm on Wednesday (May 13,2020). By the time, I waited him for almost one hour, he called me back and told me only gave me 20 to 30 mins. I said it might be too short. He said, you should find someone else and hanged up without letting me say anything. Later, I learned that he takes the Unitedhealth care insurance. But the insurance paid too little. That is why he stopped me. Further, the service should be 45-60 mins, but he cut off it into 20-30 mins. I do not recommend him at all.

Dr. Bamji is softspoken , gentle, caring ... he makes you feel important ,comfortable and that he genuinely cares about you! I have gone to lots of doctors -never has one made me feel like I am in safe haven with a dr who really cares! He goes above and beyond to give you the best of care! He is truly my favorite doctor! I would very highly recommend this doctor to anyone! He really is a special man! I am so happy I was fortunate enough to fall into his care! Don’t think twice he is wonderful!!!

Very good doctor good listener and also finds a solution to help you

A prime example of the negative aspect of social media, even in this serious, professional venue, is the appearance of "trolls". I have been a patient of Dr. Bamji for a very long time. Both in his Practice in Whitestone, his time on Long Island and several hospitals. I will not denegrate his reputation or my own validity by responding to the negative reviews. I will simply report that they are complete falsehoods. They are lying with each statement as it is exactly the opposite of what this doctor stands for. NO ONE believes your nonsense.... too many people know, work with and go to Dr. Bamji for your review to be even remotely believed. But one thing is obvious, you DO need help....

For the past 35 years I've had a difficult mental challenge; but with the help and care of Dr. Dinshaw D. Bamji, I've been able to overcome it. Dr. Bamji is a dedicated, erudite, kind, attentive, and caring professional. Without the guidance and proper medication from Dr. Bamji, I would not have become a library manager.

I have been going to Dr. Bamji for over 5 years and he has always shown appropriate care and medication management. I feel compelled to let anyone who is seeking psychiatric care to make an appointment to consult him. What impresses me the most he does not prescribe medication readily. He first does a family history and pinpoints the exact nature of you diagnosis.

Dr. Bamji has been able to give me the tools needed to lead a successful and most of all happy life. I am seeing him for years now and although I am lucky enough to only need to see him a few times a year now, if need and I call him he gets back to me in record time. Throughout my time as his patient there was a time when he didn't accept the insurance my company provided. I would not have been able to afford his office visit, if his dedication was not so strong and he work something out with me to make the visit affordable. I would recommend him to anyone, I got my life back with the tools that she gave me. I tip my hat to this man.

As I decided comment and write a review I couldn't help but read through previous reviews. I was amazed to see but it was the opposite of what I am about to write. Dr. Bamji is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever seen treated by. Unfortunately he doesn't accept my insurance but I see him anyway because I have not found any doctor who had the expertise, care, and interest in his patients such as he does. I lead an amazing life due to being under his care. Thank you doctor Bamji, I wish you all the best.
