Dr. Dipti Doshi, MD

Required to have many expensive tests before medication that is supposed to be safe even for pregnant women. Had a chest exray very extensive blood work and a visit to a eye specialist. I believe I had about four visits. I only saw the actual dr in my last visit only because I made a scene about it. Now the dr will not return my call (2 weeks now) and at my last visit she doubled my dose. Only problem is, they won’t call or give me a script. I’m being punished because I was persistent. So I had no choice but to take what I had left and stop cold turkey. You depend on a doctor and their staff to be competent, but.... They even ignored my calls, my pharmacies calls. I had to fire them. Very poor treatment for the suffering patient.

I've been looking for a Dr that cared about my serious symptoms. AltaMed in Pico Rivera recommended me too Dr Dipti Doshi. I am truly grateful to AltaMed and Dr Dipti Doshi. I was sick for 5 years until Dr Doshi gave me the right medications! :)

IT WAS A RIP OFF. It would be understandable if they would do nothing on your first visit. But on the second, third and so on, It is a RIP off. They did not do anything to me on the second day because they did not have the lab results, (why did they charge me if they did not do anything?). On my third visit, she said that the x-ray results were lacking (I needed more x-ray), why did they charge me, and besides, I am not the one who gives the x-ray request, so, it is not my fault, why still charge me. On my next visit, I was prescribed for a medication and it was sent to the pharmacy. When I got to the pharmacy, the Pharmacist told me that she should contact the doctor because her prescription would have a reaction to my current medication. When I went to the doctor, they wanted me to pay for a follow-up when I was not given the medication, they wanted me to inform the doctor. Is that not a RIP-OFF? Then I was ordered to have an ultra sound which they have in their clinic, but they… wanted to schedule me for another day. They charged my insurance for the ultra sound and let me pay for a doctors fee even if I was not seen by the doctor. Is that fair? Is it not a RIP-OFF?

I find Dr.Doshi very knowlegeble regarding making diagnosis. I was suffering from my illness since last 4 years and I was treated just for pain elsewhere and Dr. Doshi diagnosed me with Autoimmune problem which I am on medication for same and really enjoying my life pain free at this moment. Extremely unorganized office and they tend to run 1.2 to 2.0 hours late. Don't expect to be seen at your scheduled appointment time - and forget expecting an apology as no one cares. The attitude is that because they are physicians their time is more valuable.

First visit: 11/2 hour wait. Dr. spent 7 minutes with patient & ordered tests Second visit: Patient was told they were 40 minutes late for appointment and would not be seen, was reappointed. At that appointment patient presented the appointment card with the time written for the previous appointment which was the time the patient showed for the appointment. No apology was given. just said oops. Third visit: 2 hour wait. Dr. spent less than 5 minutes with patient. Very unprofessional in the office. calling your name through a glass partition with the TV and radio both on, talking to other employees while assisting patient, etc.

She is very good. Asked all questions, made correct treatment. Very happy with her. Releived my pain
