Dr. Disha Kumar Narang, MD

I am so thankful to be in Dr. Narang’s care. She has a way of treating each patient like they are her only patient and explains everything along the way-I would, and am, referring her to family members in need of an amazing endocrinologist!

She was very helpful, prompt and informed. Se took a big picture view I appreciated and constructively challenged me. Her communication following my test results was kind and helpful. The one area she could work on to get that 5th star is being a big more encouraging and recognizing the path and progress being made. Encouraging people will keep them on a fruitful path.

I met for an appointment and she was very detailed, profession, polite. I have another appointment in two weeks and look forward to it.

"Dr" Disha Narang has, by far, the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. I was referred to Endocrinology by my PCP for thyroid enlargement and a drastic increase in antibody levels over 2 years. This "Dr" did a 2 second evaluation of my thyroid and told me there was no sign of enlargement despite it being there less than 6 weeks ago. She told me that my labs were still considered normal and that they only treat thyroid conditions based on labwork, not how the patient feels. This indicates to me that how the patient is feeling on a most basic level does not matter to her. I also presented a list of clinical signs including hair loss, dry skin, cold intolerance, headaches, and fatigue. She heard fatigue and immediately jumped to depression, despite the fact that I told her my home life is wonderful. Depression doesn't cause any of the other signs I listed. On top of her 2 second "exam" she spent the entire 15 minutes she talked to me, berating me and the concerns I brought to… her. I have never felt so disrespected by a doctor in my life. Upon leaving her office I was so upset I immediately escalated this with my insurance company. This woman has no business treating people. She would be better suited locked in a lab with limited contact with the outside world.
