My Mother had been admitted and was anemic, she was concerned about having a transfusion. The hospitalist, Dr Pingle told her “tomorrow you will feel worse, look worse and then you will die”. This is what you say to an elderly woman? This is several years ago, but true never the less.

She is very judgemental within minutes of meeting you, so beware. She is one of the most arrogant doctors I've ever met but be careful because it masks her ability to retain important facts about your body. She also is a very condescending person who has a major social issue, chip on her shoulder and tends to belittle people. Also heard her ruthlessly speak to a few nurses, so she doesn't have respect for many people. This was my experience and I would not recommend her to my worst enemy. Lastly, DO NOT TRUST HER TO READ YOUR CHART THOROUGHLY. Obviously she is desensitized as a doctor and should be in another profession to where she has limited access to employees and patients or none at all. To her, you're just another number so be very careful. She is a sharp lady in many ways but other ways, in my opinion way to dangerous for patients. I guarantee of m not the only one.

we did not choose the doctor...........she was assigned by the hospital as my husband's admitting physician and she has never seen him, contacted him or okayed his release from the hospital. She has no phone number
