Dr. Dixie Rene Mullennix, MD

The most caring and through Dr. I have ever had. Was crushed when she shut down her practice. But, if you ever come across her you can trust her with your live. I had to several times and I have never seen a more dedicated Dr. Thank you for all your years of care!!

Dr. Mullennix is an excellent family doctor. She spends time with you and is very thorough. If she doesn't know what is going on she will admit it (a characteristic not found in many physicians). She won't stop there she will refer you to someone that does and she will do research on her own time to become more knowledgable. A rare gem among doctors.

Was having some chest pains went I first went to Dr, Mullennix, she got the ball rolling with lab work, stress test, etc., which eventually led to me having by-pass surgery with six by-passes. She has stayed on top of my recovery over the last 3 years. Told her on one of the last visits, "Thank You!" He response was. "For what?" My reply was, "For saving my life." She has time to listen which sometimes causes her to get behind in her appointments, but she always has time for her patient and even time has time to pray with you if called for. Thanks Dr. Dixie, you are a wonderful caring individual.

after reading about Dr. Mullennix expertise and interest in patients with CFS and fibromyalgia, i tried to make an appointment with Dr. Mullennix, my daughter is a long time sufferer with both and very ill, her present doctor lacks understanding of the conditions and she is presently trying to find someone who can help her. The receptionist curtly told me Dr. Mullennix does not have expertise with these illnesses and promptly refers those patients elsewhere. i asked if she could refer me to a doctor who has knowledge of CFS and fibromyalgia and is understanding of the illnesses and she said "no she cannot", i was extremely disappointed and felt like i was brushed off.

She is extremely compassionate, knowledgeable and has superb bedside manner. I can really relate to her. I feel like she understands my issues.... much more than any other doctor ever has. She never makes me feel rushed and has often spent extra time with me to address my issues. I can't say enough good things about her!! If I ever move out of state, I will still come back here to see her.
