Dr. Dmitry Malkin, MD

He is my to go person!

Dr Malkin is not a psychiatrist I would recommend. He jumps to conclusions on diagnoses, diagnosing me autistic purely because I "couldn't maintain eye contact" (over a zoom call, no less!), a diagnosis that normally requires a rigorous process. He consistently speaks over patients, never bothering to listen to your full story, and drawing egregious and inaccurate conclusions; trying to correct him is pointless because he won't let you speak anyway. He cuts appointments short, sometimes as short as 10 minutes even if there is more relevant information to be shared. Look elsewhere.

I've been a patient of Dr. Malkin's for about a year now and there isn't enough great things I can say about him. He truly wants the best for his patients and he takes a very holistic approach when prescribing medication. He considers your external factors, patient history, and other medical concerns. Obviously this should be the approach of all doctors, but in reality it isn't, so I am lucky that I found a psychiatrist that does practice this. Not to mention Dr. Malkin is essentially an encyclopedia of medication, it is remarkable how much he knows. Lastly, he is very responsive to email, helpful, and will answer all questions. He has debunked every stereotype and apprehension i had about psychiatrists. I highly recommend him,

He charges an insane amount ($400) and claims it to be reasonable. Most working people can't afford to pay this much. He is shrewd and has terrible bedside manner. He doesn't care about helping people with mental illnesses but instead only about money. He is not worth it.
