Dr. Dolores Maria Digaetano, MD

This doctor does not seem to care. I waited a long time and she ushered me out. She seems to be hearing but not listening. I do not trust her decisions and she needs help with her bedside manner. She looks at you as if you are not very smart and she has all the answers. Her staff was a lot friendlier. Will not go back.

She is very compassionate and caring. My family member has been going to her for about 15 years. She always listens to our concerns and is willing to try different treatments or medicines to improve his condition. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Best Memphis has to offer. Been to a few, these folks are the excellent at what they do!

As was previoiusly stated, Dr D is a Physiatrist, not a counselor. Her job is to treat your medical condition, not sit and listen to why you hate your mother. I have been seeing her for over 10 years. We worked together to find the right medication that would level out my depression and occasionally she had recommended a change. I see her once a year for a review of my condition and to renew my prescription. I have never been made to wait to see her and in fact, there is a sign on the wall that says that If you are not seen within 15 minutes, you are to speak to the receptionist. Dr D is warm, curtious and has treated me with compassion ever since I began seeing her. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE, ESPECIALLY MY WORST ENEMY.

Dr. D is beyond amazing! She has a wonderful bedside manner and never acts bothered by taking with me. She is thoughtful, experienced, and well educated in how to accurately treat mental illness. She does not casually raise dosages or change medications. Her care, compassion, and ability helped me achieve normal.

She saved my life. I was going through a rough patch and had gone to other doctors with no success. She treated me with the kind of medical knowledge I hope to find in all my doctors. She continued to work with me until we found a balance of the right medications. Her medication approach is very conservative which I really like. Other doctors were too fast to try to push controlled substances. I can finally say I am at a good and stable place.

After reading prior reviews, patients need to understand that she is a physician, not a counselor. She is there to prescribe medications and/or treatments to help your condition. She is extremely knowledgeable in the area of depression treatments and how to balance the treatments with minimum side effects at the lowest dosage. Other physicians who I've mentioned her name to have all said I was in excellent hands with her. She is very well thought of in the medical community and has been a life saver for me. But don't expect an hour long heart to heart talk---that is a psychologist you are looking for, not a medical psychiatrist.

They are a joke. You have to diagnose yourself. Ben going there a year and they wanted a drug test from me that i had to pay for. Just another way to make more money. I told them that I would pee in a cup all day if they paid for it. I know Im not on drugs and if they want to know that after a year they can pay for it if it comes back clean. If not Ill pay for it.

I found Dr. Digaetano to be very abrasive, rigid, dispassionate and self-centered. She shows up late but kept mewaiting for a few hours. Her answer to everything is to prescribe pills. I onlywent once, but that was enough for me. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Very disappointing. I would probably have greater difficulty getting drugs off the street since prescriptions are written way too easily. I've waited at least an ohur each time and watched Dr. DiGaetano arrive 1/2 hour after our scheduled appointment.
