Dr. Dolores Aquino Estrada-Garcia, MD

Dr. Estrada-Garcia has a very good bedside manner. She took care of both of my parents and went out of her way to do everything possible to make my parents as comfortable as possible. She is wonderful!

Probably the worst doctor I’ve ever met. Multiple bad experiences with him. No one likes him

Dr. Estrada-Garcia has treated several of my relatives and friends. Contrary to what was previously reported, she is a well-like physician. Their nurses at the office as well as in the hospital really like her because she is very approachable, and always very helpful. In our place where she works, she is I think the most hardworking physician I have ever seen. She is a blessing to the community. She is very thorough, and treats her patients with utmost respect. Her knowledge is superb. When our very first family member that saw her was seen at a tertiary care center for second opinion, the physician who saw her there told us that the work-ups and treatment recommendations she made were exactly the same that he will recommend. I will recommend her over and over again if her services will be needed.

Doctor Estrada may be perfectly familiar with her field and she is well regarded by some of her colleges. However, the nurses and patients that work with her will readily tell you her bedside manner is deplorable. Additionally, she made many mistakes in dosing when our loved one was placed in the hospital. At the end of his life, there was an attempt to make him comfortable. The family was told in the morning that orders would be entered to put him on appropriate and continuous pain medication. Despite the family member being aggravated and NOT resting comfortably throughout the entire day, and multiple prompting calls by the nurses and the family, these orders were not entered until late that evening. The end came after 46 excruciating hours and the comfort measures requested and promised by this doctor were not supplied entirely until approx 12 hours before the last moment. Throughout his treatment, measures to enhance the quality of his life were denied as not possible. In fact, the… pain the family member experienced was disregarded as being due to a side effect of other medications by this doctor for 3 weeks prior to her finally ordering requested tests that determined the pain was due to advancement of his disease. Again and again, we requested measures to control his cough and the fluid in his lungs. However, only when he was unconscious and near the end was a patch supplied that completely dried up the condition.I would not recommend this doctor under any circumstance.

I dont feel that she is a very good doctor, I feel that she uses patients as experiments. People I have talked to wants to get away from her and get someone else in the office but no other doctor will take them due to "conflict of interest." I feel that people should have their own rights to switch without having to worry about their own lives. Please if u feel there is something more out there for you then follow your intincts and get another oppinion!
